INTRODUCTIONCyberbullying means using online technology for the purpose of hurting someone elseemotion. It is also known as online bullying. In addition, this illegal activity is increasing amongthe teenagers. It includes harass people on the internet by posting unwanted pictures or videosthrough social media (Whittaker and Kowalski, 2015).It can also be defined as by repetition ofsame behaviour for longer period of time. Victims of cyberbullying suffer from low self esteem,negative emotion response, frustration, depression etc. Report will include legislation that is being used to deal with the problem ofcyberbullying.MAIN BODYLO1 Argument in context of cyberbullyingCyberbullying is an illegal practise that is common nowadays among teenagers as theyare more addicted towards use of social media networking.According to the Waasdorp and Bradshaw, 2015cyberbullying is the process that dealwith the use of electronic items like internet, mobile phones, email etc. This activity is commonnowadays among the teenagers who are addicted of using mobile phone. It is a repeatedbehaviour of people for harming other people and hurting its emotion. Online websites andmobile applications are the main reason for cyberbullying. It is a criminal offence that will leadto destroy the life of people. Through social media cyberbullying is increasing day by day andhas a bad impact on the behaviour of people. Some countries is having laws to stop this practiseof cyberbullying through which it can be reduced at certain extent.Brewer and Kerslake, 2015 stated that victims of the cyberbullying is suffered from thelow self esteem, depression, frustration etc. Cyberbullying is comprises of two types such asonline and traditional bullying. As online bullying is being done through use of social medianetworking while traditional bullying is done through face to face interaction between people.Cyberbullying is of many types like bombing, slandering, impersonation, defamation andflaming. It is a problem that mostly occur in the countries where teenagers are more addicted tothe mobile phone. As cyberbullying has a bad impact on the mental health of the people as theyare suffering from the problem of depression. Mostly people is having of using social networkingsites such as Facebook, twitter etc. 1
