Google
One of the world’s most prevalent search engine is Google. This is an American
multinational technology organization. This is specialized in internet-related amenities and
products. This contains online promoting technologies, computing of cloud, hardware, &
software. It is known as a big technology organization alongside Apple, Facebook, &
Amazon. In 1998 organization established by Sergey Brin & Larry page (Alexander,
2014). They own 14 percent shares. They holds 56 percent shareholder voting power by
supervoting stock. They integrated it as a California privately held organization in California
on 4 September1998. This was integrated on 22 October 2002 in Delaware. On 19 August
2004 preliminary public proposing took place & it relocated to head office in Mountain
View, California, nicknamed the Googolplex. This organization has announced a plan in
2015 to recognize many interests like conglomerate called Alphabet Inc. This is Alphabet’s
prominent subsidiary. This will continue to an umbrella organization for the Alphabet's
Internet interests. The Sundar Pichai was selected as CEO of Google by replacing Larry Page
who suited the CEO of Alphabet.
This is most visited site in the globe. Many other services of Google figure in top 100
most visited sites including Blogger and YouTube. In 2017, it was recognized as the most
valued brand in globe. It has received important criticism including issues like concerns of
privacy, avoidance of tax, censorship, antitrust and neutrality of search. The mission
statement of Google is “to establish global information and create it reachable and useful
universally (Hansson & Geier, 2012).
Advertising
Google makes most of the revenue from advertising. This consists sales of
application, purchases mad in applications, products digital content on android, YouTube,
including fees receive, service fees for Google Cloud Offerings. Google analytics permits
owners of the website to track and use a website that uses by people. Advertisements on
Google allows advertisers to present their advertisement in the network of Google content by
a scheme of cost per click. A sister service of Google AdSense allows advertisers to present
the advertisement in the content network of Google. Advertisement of Google can be sited on
websites of the third party in a shared program (Lengnick & Beck, 2011).
