Evaluating the Significance of Communication in
Maintaining Quality and Timely Delivery of
Project Activities

 1.1 Background of the study
 A study conducted by the Project Management Institute (PMI) has
revealed that ineffective communication has a negative impact on
successful execution of a project (Moulaert & Swyngedouw, 2015).
 On contrary, high-performing organizations having more than 80% success
rate in their project in the context of timely delivery, on budget and within
goals, follow create formal communication plan.

 1.2 Research Aims and Objectives
 The research aims to evaluate the importance of effective communication
in order to maintain quality and timely delivery of project activities. In
addition, the research will focus on the factors responsible for successful
delivery of a project and evaluate them properly to avoid failure of the
project.
 The research will have the following objectives.
 To understand the factors responsible for successful delivery of a project
 To critically analyze the importance of effective communication in
maintaining quality of the project
 To assess the role of communication in timely delivery of the project
activities
 To find out the challenges lied in processing of effective communication
and provide solutions to overcome the issues
