INTRODUCTION
Health care organizations are those organizations which offers clinical service to the
patient through clinical authorities i.e. nurse, doctors and pharmacists. The main purpose of the
organization is to offer wellbeing services at reasonable cost. There is an example of NHS which
provides both type services i.e. social care and health care to people. The brief study helps to
understand structure, management and services of NHS. It follows a hierarchical structure in it’s
organization so that level of command maintain in effectively. There are three major principles
such as respect and dignity, commitment to quality of care and improves lives of people etc.
governs by NHS. The main role of the NHS is to helps people to influence their lives and
wellbeing in the society. It achieved its role by reducing poor health ratio in the UK.
Organization does not have good funding source that causes unable to achieved it’s enlisted
roles. To give fair treatment in the decision-making process is the major ethical principle of NHS
which has achieved effectively. It unable to maintain individual wellbeing in the workplace
while working at the workplace which is negative aspect of the company. Company prescribes
innovative medicine so that improves individual health asap. Lack of flexibility in the working is
the major drawback of the company. NHS get success to control Covid-19 patient in the England
as compared other countries. But it’s employees unable to protect themselves while treating
Covid-19 patients. NHS must organize pandemic event that helps staff to understand how keep
themselves protect while this situation.
MAINBODY
Evaluation of NHS
National Health Service (NHS) is complex system because it offers health care system and social
care system. It contains number of organizations along with different roles, responsibilities and
specialists (Asthana and Gibson, 2020). The organization offers variety of services and supports
i.e. health care, social care and others to patient and carers. It is established in UK and separate
its system into four parts i.e. National Health Services in England, NHS Scotland, NHS Wales
and Health and Social Care in the Northland that provides their services each part of UK. Each
part of NHS health system offers different type services such as NHS in England gives

pharmaceutical care services to the patient and in return patient have to pay charge of
prescription only. While NHS Scotland provides clinical services i.e. accidental and emergency
to the patient. NHS Wales provides local health service and available 24 hours a day, every day.
Organization offers wide range of health information on condition, treatment and others.
Mission statement
“To provide quality of care to every person every day” is the mission statement of NHS
(Putting quality first to deliver better health, better care and better value, 2019). The major
speciality of organization is that NHS focus on the statement and comprises two components i.e.
improving health and improving communities. Improving health is the first component where
NHS design itself in such a way that it’s client can direct access the information to aware them
about the best health and wellbeing choices. In addition, organization add few tools to advance
lifestyle of the patient. The tools are direction of exercise, sexual health and healthy body of
customers. Second component is directly interlinked with first one whereas organization
provides personal care and social care guides to the community for improving their health. Apart
from this, organization has planned highly efficient materials to provide its customer which is
essential for day to day life and supports as well. To fulfilment of mission statement leads
benefits for both NHS and people. When organization meet its objectives by offering high
quality services to the people as result improves public wellbeing. On the other hand, people get
chance to live quality life. Organization sets objectives to direct individual employee towards
common goal. NHS has aim to achieve its mission in minimum time as much as possible. NHS
also sets core values such as teamwork, excellence, integrity and caring which denotes
organization is more concerned for their responsibility. These core values help organization to
fulfil its mission over the time. NHS plans to improve health care facilities in their health system
so that they can offer high quality services (Clarke and et.al., 2018). For example, NHS in
Scotland offers clinical care services to the patient. Due to lack of staff and equipment unable to
provide proper clinical service to chronic patients like cancer patients, tuberculosis patient and
others. To overcome this issue recruit’s specialist who can handle pandemic situations
effectively. Thus, NHS leads change in the organization and their practices to get outcome-based
care.
