What is the event/incident that you are reflecting on? (Indicating the relevant week)
The event is related to private GSM London College that is going to stop teaching. It is identified
that GSM London is one of biggest private higher education providers in England. It has gone
into the administration and would stop the teaching the students in September. It is also pointed
out that the college states that it has not been competent for recruiting and retaining the adequate
amount of scholars to create sufficient revenues to be sustainable (BBC news, 2019). It is also
identified that GSM London College is engaged in teaching approximately 3,500 scholars with
degree courses to validate by the university of Plymouth. The college located in Greenwich as
well as, Greenford states that 247 jobs are at uncertainty. Week 8 is used for developing the
understanding of Myers Briggs of personality. In such manner, I have pointed out that there are
different criteria for assessing the personality (Olsen, 2015).
Why is this event/incident significant for you?
This event is significant for me to develop knowledge regarding private GSM London College. It
would be also effective for retaining and recruiting scholars within GSM London College
(Korthagen, 2017).
What technique/model did you use?
Myers Briggs of personality test was used for assessing the personality of scholars. Feedback
technique is practiced for self-awareness. This feedback is collected through tutor feedback and

Why did it happen and what was your initial reaction to the event/incident?
This event is happened because of the declining profitability of GSM London College. The
initial reaction to the event was marketization of education (Kroll, and Dussias, 2017).

Description
This reflective report presents the incident of stop teaching at GSM London College. It also
demonstrates the Gibbs reflective cycle to reflect on incidents. There would be no difference in

Feelings
Throughout the module, I felt that Profit College is owned through private equity firm and
emphasized on business option. It is noticed that event is one of sign regarding private providers

felt that its fall down is possible for raising questions regarding the accomplishment of such
commercialization of area. It is identified that it was not a university as well as, not regulated

that thinking indicates that an individual creates decision mainly via logic. During the module, it

was taught to me that feeling indicates that as a rule, he or she can make a decision as per the
emotion such as based on what they feel they should perform. It is observed that judging and
perceiving demonstrate how an individual executes the data he or she has processed. It is opined
that judging indicates that an individual manages all of his life events and as a regulation, it can
stick to his plan. It is also observed that perceiving indicates that he or she is inclined to
improvising as well as, exploring alternative selections (Ahmed and Ward, 2016).
It is evaluated that SOAR is a new and currently introduced model that offers higher emphasize
on favorable aspects. I have also increased my learning about SWOT analysis. It is proven to be
highly enduring analytical tool practiced in strategic management. It can be supportive for an
organization for comprehending the prospecting challenges, involves how arranged they might
be as well as, whether or not they have the competencies for responding towards the possible
challenges (Vangrieken, et. al., 2017).
Conclusions
From the above interpretation, it can be concluded that GSM London College is going to stop

Action

initiatives. It is addressed that scholars are motivated for practicing structured model related to
reflection, which shows the ability to reflecting on their experience at the time of clinical
activities. These models of reflection would be evaluated and practice of reflective activities
within midwifery higher education would be discussed (Von Suchodoletz, et. al., 2018).
It is identified that reflection is illustrated as a procedure that makes competent to learn from

professional development?
Learning through reflection is significant for enhancing personal development by leading to the
