INTRODUCTION Learning contract can be defined as an agreement which is negotiated betweensupervisor and learner for ensuring that few activities will be taken that will be helpful forachieving learning objectives. The objectives of an individual to enter into a learning contract isto improve their own behavior and to explore more learning opportunities. Such types of learningcontract provides student with the ownership of their own learning (Kuh, Gambino andO’Donnell, 2018). A learning contract can also be considered to as voluntary as well a documentcompleted by learner which highlights the actions which an individual will take in order toaccomplish academic success. Learning contract is considered to be as an effective tool forenhancing self- directed learning. The benefit of learning contract is that it provides an individualmotivation to learn. In addition to this, learning's contract requires a person to explore theirreadiness to learn (Osagie, Wesselink and Mulder, 2018).The Gibbs reflective model has been used in the report for reflecting personal experiencerelated to own learning contract. In present report Personal Analysis will be done using Soarmodel for analyzing the strength, opportunity, aspirations and results. Study will haveemphasizes on importance of learning through reflection.TASK 1 1A) Reflection on one week event In this assignment I will reflect on situation which took place during my working group. Iwill use Gibbs model for reflecting my experience related to own learning contract. Thehypothesis consists of six stages these are description, feeling, evaluation, analysis, conclusionand action plan. Description about event : I have taken responsibility to undertake learning contract, accordingto the instruction or suggestion from tutor I prepared the contract proposal. But before preparingthe proposal I conducted the reflective practice or self assessment which has assisted me inidentifying the areas which I required to improve. I have taken feedback from my peers well asinstructor in order to find my learning needs. After completion of the contract proposal Ipresented the same to subject coordinator for further suggestions. I presented the learningcontract in three phases. Submission of learning stage, at each phase I was provided with detailedfeedback from tutor (Duchesne and McMaugh, 2018). Before preparing the proposal I set thefew learning's goals which as helped me in assessing my performance during learning's

procedure. In learning contract I have included group learning activity which my senor hassuggested me and according to contract I was performing learning activity. First learning activityI need to work in a group to complete specific tasks, I have included such task in learningcontract as I perceive that it will help me in developing team spirit and will assist me inincreasing my knowledge related to specific project . Group of people with whom I was working with consists of mixture of both males andfemales belonging to different age groups. The first day we starting working in a team, I and mygroup members were asked to select the learning styles (Brockett and Hiemstra, 2018.). Duringthe fist week of the learning contract I was given with brief information about the learningactivities and also about the topic which will be taught. In addition to this, I was also given briefintroduction about each topic as well as sub topic s which will be covered in module. Importance of event : The particular event is very much crucial as I learned many thins and Icame to know about the challenges which might occur in continuing the learning. Specific eventis important for me as learning contract has provided me an opportunity to fulfill my learningneeds. This event has provided me a chance to concentrate an applied project related toworkplace. It was an opportunity where I can share my learning goals with Tutor or instructor. Technique or model used : I have used both swot and SoaR Model. I have utilized Swot analysisin order to identify my strength as well as weakness.Feeling : On the first day of working in a group I felt frighted and nervous. I perceive that I wasyoungest in the group and I did not know anyone. I also felt discomfort as I have notparticipated in group learning activity. I felt out of place I really did not like being in a teamwhere no one interact with each other. I was little concerned about the difficulty which I willface while learning in a team. In addition to the above, My other concern was whether I will beable to match with the learning speed with other in a group or not. But at the same time I feltlittle excited to learn new things. I was anxious to know about the content of the course andmethods of teaching which will be used for making us learn. I also felt Anxiety about usinglearning contracts may also be due to inadequate knowledge with insufficient information havingbeen given in the briefing session. One first week I also face issue of Time limitation. Evaluation : It was good experience learning in group. As during such type of learning process Icame to know about my strength and weakness and also area where I feel little uncomfortable.
