Health promotion strategy
Different phases of strategy
Planning
There are many ways of planning a health promotion strategy. The media can get involved in this
promotion program and help to implement healthy food habits among the children. Arranging
campaigns for the parents which would make them learn the advantages of feeding their child
healthy can help (Hubley & Copeman, 2018). Preparing posters or hoardings for these purpose
can be of immense help. Restaurants can also lend a helping hand in shaping the health of the
future generation.
The planning and its execution would require near about one month.
The media, parents, restaurant managers and the political parties are the main people who can
implement healthy food habits in the children.
Community engagement
Community should focus on the new generation of children and support eating healthy through a
variety of engagement activities like hospitals, schools, posters, food service venues and many
more. Children must be provided education regarding food habits in their school (Tehrani &
Taghdisi, 2015). The supermarkets can be provided with incentives to implement nutrition based
foods for the children in place of calorie based fast food menus. Community can make the
children engaged in their free time in various indoor or outdoor physical activities which would
include exercises along with basic information regarding healthy eating and its advantages.
It would require three weeks for this activity.

the health management program.

The school authority, parents, community leaders, media as well as all the people who are
engaged in this activity must have a well structured planning and aware of the advantages and
disadvantages of the program. They should have the required resources and the mentality to
implement the planning on the children.

Every individual responsible to bring the change in the health of the children must be involved.
