in ensuring that proper preparation is made in relation to the Olympic Games.
Empowered Steering Committee should be given full amount of financial autonomy
that can help them in properly managing the Olympic Games (Allen et al. 2018,
p.747). The Empowered Steering Committee can play an important role in shaping the
nature of the events of the Olympic Games. It can play a crucial role in
recommending the names of the training institutions that can prove to be instrumental
in providing coaching to the athletes. Technology infrastructure can be built for the
Olympic game like the Commonwealth Games and network security services can play
important role in improving the infrastructure of the Olympic Games.
Ticketing programme can be recommended for the Olympic Games that can help in
simplifying the process pertaining to the buying of the ticket. The IOC can carry out
collaboration with the OCOG and bring about a ticketing system. The acquiring of the
provider can help in saving OCOG from designing and engineering a system. This can
help in removal of the risks pertaining to the organising of such a grand programme. It
can also pave the path for improving access to that of Olympic ticketing for that of the
consumers. It can help in relation to distributing the tickets and it would prove to be
beneficial for sourcing the tickets with the help of the internet.
The candidate cities along with OCOG can propose the transport plans that can help
in maintaining transport service that is effective. Reliance on the aspect of public
transport can help in building the existing network that can help in the growth of the
Olympic Games. It can prove to be effective in finding the solutions that can help in
minimising usage pertaining to dedicated fleet. It can be said that implementation of
client-by-client approach that is taken should be based on needs of the clients.
