Evidence Based Practice on Hand Hygiene
Introduction
Evidence-based Practice (EBP) generally combines the best shreds of evidence in
research as well as clinical nursing practices. On the contrary, it can be defined as a way to solve
the problem in the context of clinical practice relied on experiences, experiences and studies. The
best evidence-based practice help in the improvement of the health care provisional services that
later improves the patient values as well. In this paper, the endeavors of hand hygiene would be
evaluated. Besides, this paper would present the aim of the Hand – Hygiene in order to remove
the microorganisms in the human body. Some previous research revealed that adopting the
Evidence-Based Practice according to the culture generally develop the outcome related with
patients' family, healthcare provider satisfaction and patient itself. After Decreasing the
unnecessary process and tests, Evidence-based practice also seen to reduce the risks and costs of
harms (Bunn,et al., 2014). This paper would briefly outline the systematic review on the
effectiveness of interventions for improving hand hygiene compliance of nurses in the hospital
setting. The purpose of choosing this topic is to identify the interventions that develop hand
hygiene compliance (HHC) among health care nurses. The reviewed articles and the subject
interests would provide the relevant and up to date evidence for supporting the current and future
practices both. Also, the paper would choose the appropriate aspect of the hospital setting in
regard to the hand hygiene compliances in the context of EBP. The rationale for selecting this
aspect would be reviewed by highlighting the problem area (Li, Sun & Chen, 2019).
Furthermore, this paper would identify the Evidence-based practice process. Exploring the
concept of EBP, the paper would additionally develop the answerable questions as well.

Quality Review
According to the World Health Organisation (WHO), one of the most general practices
for reducing the cross-infection is hand hygiene. In regard to the previous studies, it is seen that
the overall infection rates in the hospitals was occurred based on hand hygiene infections. This
study has identified the rationale as well as the new learning related to the chosen topic. The
sectors of problem signify the way of spreading microorganisms and cause infections. The
Microorganisms that are also known as ‘Infection Distributors' has found as a medium of
spreading the infections in a human body. This paper has identified that these microorganisms
are sometimes intended to concentrate in some areas basically known as ‘Reservoirs'.
Consequently, the ‘Reservoirs' have identified as a probable infectious agent in the
context of people or environment in which they can be transferred from a particular area to next
(Boyce, 2019). The systematic review was performed through the guidance of the reporting
items accordingly. The significant interventions were identified the nurses those spent the
maximum time in the direct patient contacts. As a result, they get the opportunity to perform
hand hygiene, as well. Thus, the problem found in the area of evidence-based hand hygiene
design for the betterment of hand hygiene compliance (Hummel, Vleck & Greenough, 2019). It
is optimistic that this identified hand hygiene compliance would enable health care providers
while making informed choices. Also, while allocating the limited sources, this focused
problematic area is expected to improve patient safety as well s the hand hygiene compliances.
