Introduction
Tourism is travel for happiness or business. It includes transportations services,
hospitality services, and entertainment venues. It also operates the business of operating
tours. A common perception of the tourism is traveling in holidays. It is traveling and staying
in another place but not more than one consecutive year (Collins, 2008). Today, tourism is
the main source of income for many countries and affects the economy of both the countries.
In this paper, there will be a discussion on the topic of ‘Evolution of cruises”. Cruises are the
sources of traveling which now chosen for the holiday celebration.
Cruising- the past days
In the last past years, ships is a only source to travel the sea. In 1990, history
introduced by the brand new concept of Mauritania, Olympic, Lusitania and the ill-fated
Titanic. These vessels provide comfort to the passengers. Not only comfort but they also
ensure about the stability during bad weather. Ships were drowning during the flood and
other natural calamities (Marine insight, 2016). Cruises offer extravagant hotel facility to the
passengers. It takes less time as compared to the 1850s ships. People most travelled for their
business or for immigration purposes. For this, a class system set on board for the passengers.
Even after the word war or Titanic fate, cruising popularity is continuously rising. Till the
1920s and 1930s, Cruising popularity is raising continuously at the peak point. In the 1960’s,
cruising was crashing and his name goes down in few years (Collard, 2014). Cruising
popularity goes down over the aircraft services. It is more comfortable for the passengers to
reach their destination in just a few hours as compared to a few days. It was easy for the
passengers to select the sources of traveling via aircraft to reach in a few hours or by cruising
in a few days. Aircraft has jet engines, which helps the passenger to reach their destination in
a few hours. It was a blessing for the passenger who is an emergency for their destination.

Passengers always choose aircrafts for travelling to reach their destination in few hours.
Therefore, aircraft continuously comes into popularity. Cruising was back in 1947 with
another courageous move that brought cruising back. It came back with some new quality.
They offer plenty of fun and certain new facility to feel them comfortable. People again
travelled by cruises. This new line introduces the class system for the passenger. In one class
system, everyone has his or her cabin sizes room and other facilities. Cruiser chooses the long
way to go for the destination. Few days’ people enjoy the facilities or the long journey at the
low prices. Cruisers get popular again for the facilities or fun. People spend their holidays
cruising instead of moving from one place to another place. Cruiser is known for picnic spot
instead of traveling sources. By continuously raising the popularity of Cruisers, it adopts new
technology and introduces the new facilities. By popularising the shore excursion the modern
cruising set, sail as a holiday spot (Cruise118.com, 2013).
Today Cruising
Cruisers grow fastest in the travel industry. People spend their time or making the
good memories on cruisers. It comes under the best place where that people wants to spend
their time. Cruising has come with long way with 63 passenger’s seats that was sailed on
Britannia in 1840. In 2010, Royal Caribbean introduces the biggest ship in the world. The
Allure of the seas is the world’s biggest ship that holds impressive 6000 passengers
(Twistedsifter, 2011). This ship has unique facilities as compared to the others. The whole
world will be on the board with the unimaginable features. This ship has all type of facilities
that a holiday spots for happiness. It has necessary requirements as well as the advanced
requirements. It has rock-climbing walls, nightclubs, casinos, ice rinks and countless dining
venues. The facilities of the ship are unbelievable. Cruises voyage 1800s is very far from this
ship and even they have no comparison.

The good thing about the cruising is that it has food for a person of any age. It has the
facilities for everyone. In the present scenario, many cruises focus on the need of the
individuals. If any person looking for home from home atmosphere for traveling then they
can try Fred cruiser. Fred cruisers are, especially for the families. The six-star cruises made
for the travellers who are looking for the personalized trip experience that is so luxurious
(Hyun, & Han, 2015). There are numerous ships with the various facilities larger than real
life facilities. Royal Caribbean; Carnival; NCL and Disney are perfect for the friends and
families.
Future of Cruising
From the last years, if nothing forgotten then it is the experience of the cruisers. The
cruise industry is only to set into the boom. Nowadays, 16 million passengers in the world set
sail on a cruise and it expects that this figure will rise continuously year after year. It
expected by the experts that in the future cruisers are design as the real-life cities for living.
Future cruise ship includes the facilities of daily life such as fitness activities centers or
extracurricular activities (Wang, Wang, Zhen, & Qu, 2016). Cruisers companies take the
advantage by working with the new brands such as Apple, Starbuck, and others. Apart from
the customer satisfaction, the cruisers organized lucrative incentive and conference market.
By using tech tools cruise will build their own custom rules from which they can make them
differ from others. It increases the range of optional tour choices (Traveller, 2018). There are
certain ships that are devoted to different nationalities. Cruisers will provide the catering to
the passengers as per their nationality. The cruisers will adopt many things for making an
amazing experience of the passengers.

Conclusion
Tourism is the pleasure for the passengers. Accommodation, transportation, and
entertainment services are the tourism services. In the past years, ships are the famous source
of traveling but it takes days to reach on the passenger destination. For saving the time, Jet
engines are introduced which helps the passenger to reach their destination in a few hours.
However, after a long time, Royal Caribbean comes with the world biggest ship that has the
unbelievable facilities for 6000 passengers at the time (Rclcorporate, 2018). Cruisers will use
their tech tools to build their own custom and adopt the all nationality to cater to the person of
every nationality. Unfortunately, cruisers future is not exactly predictable but one thing is
sure about it is that the traveling experience of cruisers is unforgettable or it is not
compatible.
