The RN to BSN program at Grand Canyon University meets the requirements for clinical
competencies as defined by CCNE and AACN using non-traditional experiences for practicing
nurses. These experiences come in the form of direct and indirect care experiences in which
licensed nursing students engage in learning within the context of their hospital organization,
their specific care discipline and their local communities.
This activity is intended to foster demonstration of skills related to leadership and management.

There are many components regarding proposal and suggest the appropriate ways to
present components (Grol, et al., 2013). It is important to make the proposal according the
detailed requirements. This is a detailed planning document which helps to obtain the required
information. It includes the sources which are necessary and important to achieve the objectives.
This includes the intend objective to achieve the desired results. It includes the components
which are necessary for the higher point value. These assess the potential impacts of projects
such as long and short term. Further it includes the capability component regarding the available
sources which directly remain the relative to initiative regarding proposal. It is made with the
objective to respond to meet the requirements effectively. This will have the proposal to act as
the source of information and convey the appropriate information. If officially approved than I
believes that proposal will be effectively approved as there are many benefits associated with this
kind of initiative. The explanations will not be limited to the Following criteria in which proposal
will be approved.
 With this kind of approach such as total number of mothers and newborns, no substance
regarding place of residence, can be effectively attended within the any hospital by capability to
serve the requirements.
 The initiatives are necessary as provide the insights within the departments or section for the
requirement of development and what kind of devices is use within the care delivery.
 Proposed team will effectively initiate the awareness regarding special community campaigns
regarding minimization of the death such as infant and maternal.
 The proposition will effectively include to delivering the ground regarding the getting rid of
prevalent incidences like incorrect and inequities education regarding nutrition insufficiency,
breastfeeding, cleanliness, and ignorance.
 Value-added communication with referrals will create the more possibility to achieve appropriate
targets (Deutsch, et al., 2014).
2. What are some strengths and weaknesses of the proposal?
Strengths
 The initiative targets the diversified population, consisting nursing and expectant mothers,
children, and infants. Varied population suggests that organization will have individuals which
the platform will serve.

 Mortality regarding infants and maternal are at high level within the hospital, and proposal will
support the outcomes regarding maternal and perinatal, predominantly limit the newborn child
mortality (Hans, Van Houdenhoven, & Hulshof, 2012).
 Proposal allocates the risk-friendly phases and assurance regarding vulnerable of moms and
newborns. The appropriate initiative implements the critical intercessions which are basic to
address the issues regarding newborn and maternal moralities.
 This will include the appropriate setting of the multi-functional team or group. The built-up team
task will handle the predicaments regarding newborn and maternal deaths by ensuring the crucial
services which are provided.
 It is dedicated to deliver the major and specified care with the obligation to low or zero tolerance
regarding infections. This kind of appropriate assurance will indicates the extremely progressive
phases to stay ahead in this kind of issues as set the standards and effectively implement and
prove the top practices to others to follow.
 The association will not afford to react in dealing with the hospital generated infections. This has
the objective to outline the framework regarding success and improve the strategy as pertains to
enhance the safety of patience by minimizing the infections.
 It will remain the responsible for preventing the infections. Involvement of the employees within
the all levels of proficiency and discipline coupled by the assurance regarding senior leadership
as crucial to progress for the initiative.
 Positive change within the behavior will lead to the shift the culture which is required to confirm
and improve the outcomes and appropriate care of patient in the environment.
 The regular development of comprehensive physician, orientation of employees, and nursing will
lead to the appropriate hygiene practices.
 The regular approaches regarding the education of employees will create the more forums within
the health system. The proper care will be assessed and provided by the nurses on the regular
basis.
 There will be always remaining the commitment regarding the every health care system
operative. Quality pointers will aggregate and measure the success and intervention regarding
leveling the data and quarterly report to the internal performance management compare to the
national standards (Abbas, & Khan, 2014).

Weaknesses
 The associate budget with the proposal is low and has the doubts that whether hospital will fund
it or not.
 There is lack of proper workers on the ground. This kind of program needs the experts that are
not readily available within the organization.
 There is lack of trust as the first time in which hospital will require to adopt initiative.
 The lack of many disciplinary tasks will lead to the lack of communication and education
strategies within the system.
 Lack of evidence bundle will enable the healthcare system to leverage the inappropriate practices
and lead to minimize the safety of patients and minimize the outcomes.
 Lack of descriptions of positions of employees within the health care system will lead to create
the heavy gap within the understanding of employees and talking the patients appropriately and
serve them.
 Lack of clearance regarding the orders to maintain the health of patients will remain the huge
blow to care the patients appropriately.
 Budget issues regarding the proposal will not create the effectiveness to handle the inconsistency
and errors within the health care system.
 Lack of knowledge regarding the budget will lead to the more inappropriate practices regarding
the maintenance of services and equipment’s.
 The lack of understanding regarding the situational analysis of proposal will create the more
weaknesses within the healthcare system.

 The broad situation analysis will not help to focus on the achievements which are necessary for
the survival.
 Inappropriate plans regarding prevention activities will lead to minimize the capacity of
