This reportwill discuss about private, public and voluntary firm and their scope and purpose. Also, it willoutline legal structure of Google and Cancer research where Google is multinational internetcompany which offers wide platform for internet services. However, Cancer research is avoluntary organisation which offers charity based cancer treatment services to society. Thus, thereport will identify relationship between organisation functions with the help of objectives andchart of an enterprise.TASK 11. Types and purposes of organisations and legal structures of Google and Cancer researchThere are various types of organisation working for different purposes. Like voluntaryfirm aims at social well being and welfare regardless of profit and therefore known as non profitorganisation (Week, 2010). In addition, there so private organisation who work with the motiveof generating profits and to become market leader as per industrial competition. Apart from this,there is public firm which works to safety and security of society and holds complete support ofgovernment. Google (Private Organisation)Private organisation are the entities whose products and services are based on earningprofits and serving customer satisfaction. Google is renowned private, multinational technologycompany which offers wide range of internet products and services to people across the globe.The purpose of firm is to provide facility for hunt for publicly accessible data. It offers variety ofdata, images, records etc., of various types. The main characteristic of organisation are, flatness,product based and function based definition. People across the globe can excess its services andliable to extract every data which is not confidential. However, google is most trafficked websiteworldwide and has a billion of users globally (Wheelen and Hunger, 2017). Legal structure of Search engine is based on acquisition and partnership where the firmhas acquired various sites like, double advertising agencies, video sharing sites etc. Similarly,Google has partnered with AOL in order to enhance the quality of its video search, also with GeoEye in order to launch satellite for enabling high resolution imagery for Google earth.Cancer Research (Voluntary Organisation)Voluntary organisation works for the purpose of serving social welfare and well-being insociety. In this the companies regulates with no motive of earning but for the sake of societalbenefits. The focus of these organisations is to ensure safety practices for the people who canafford basic living. Cancer research is a voluntary organisation working since 1902. The servicesof firm are based on charity and within 20 years the company grew as leading caner researchcharity organisation. The purpose of an enterprise is to provide treatment and medical services topeople suffering form cancer.
