In the patient centered care generally adoptedby health care centres and professionals in it (Fleurence and et.al., 2013). The article has been involved in evaluating and synthesizing quantitative and qualitativeresearch evidence which are identified with the help of systematic search. Inclusion criteria hasbeen used so as to find out relevant primary studies. The search criteria are restricted up to 10years ending up to December 2013. The article is helpful in understanding key strategies that canbe adopted by the health care setting so as to improve the involvement of patient for clinicalcommunication so as to promote patient centred care. The article stated that patient is called as engaged, if he / she is wholly involved in decisionmaking aspect of self-care. It is inclusive of patient’ involvement in monitoring the progress andassess its effects and also provide suggestions for the same so that improved care can beprovided to him.
