British Airways is one of the leading brand of airline in United Kingdom. It was
established in the year of 1974 by government.
The main purpose of establishing this airline was to manage two main
nationalized airlines corporation; British European Airways and British Overseas
Airways corporation.
In the year 1987 it was developed as private firm and after that it has acquired
British Caledonian in the year 1987, Dan-air in the year 1992.
In 2007 British Airways have purchased 12 airbus A380s and 24 Boeing 787
Dreamliner.

past two years. Improved fuel efficiency and decreased
prices of oil has positively affected the growth of industry.
The primary function of airlines is to provides travel facilities
to consumers. Airline industry contributes well in the growth
of economic. Contribution of this sector has helped in raising
foreign currency in the nation.
British Airline has introduced Loyalty program known as
Executive club. In which it provides special lounges and fast
queues to passengers.
