Introduction
In the recent past days, instances of plagiarism have been among university learners in
the UK as well as other learning institutions around the global community. The learners had
became so reliant on such vice that they could not stay without committing it, as it had been the
straightforward model for them to do their school assignments. According to Boliver (2013),
most graduates within the UK had in one way of the other engaged in cases of plagiarism while
undergoing their studies. Apparently, graduates did not understand what they had been learning
that eventually influenced them at their places of work. The performance of most graduates in
the UK at their places of work had been attributed to a lack of adequate expertise or experience

end as the number of learners being caught in engaging in practices of cheating at the top
universities in the area had increased in the last three years (Zhang et al., 2013). Such cases had
led to warnings by different experts that most of the universities around the UK tend to ignore
