INTRODUCTION
• This presentation focuses on the world of Faberge
eggs including their history romanticizing and the
impact of restaurant revolution on the Faberge egg
industry.
• This presentation includes development of a mind map
mood board project proposal primary and secondary
research along with statement of intent and evaluation.

Mind Map
• The first step of developing a
mind map involves determining
the main area of specialization
which need to be at the center of
the mind map and identifying
other areas which need to be
placed in a circulation form.

Project Proposal
• Section 1: Review
• Throughout the unit 1 and two I have prepared
designs off Faberge egg which can effectively depict
the concept of romanticizing end revolution through
craftsmanship. I have utilized written medium
primarily to complete design of Fabergé eggs.

• This project focuses on the concept of romanticizing
and Faberge eggs. In addition to this the ideas of
Russian revolutions and the history of development
of February eggs are also included in this project.

• In order to finish the project covering the theme of
romance revolution and Faberge eggs I conducted
primary as well as secondary research on the topic
and history of Faberge eggs.

• Annotation 1: The Faberge
egg design is based on the
Rose Trellis Faberge Egg
created by craftsman Peter
Hedrick Wigstorm in the
year 1907 for the Tsar
Nicholas the second.

• Annotation 2: The Faberge
egg dimensions will be 160
cm to 135 cm because it
will provide better area for
covering the detailing of the
exterior Faberge egg
jewellery work.

Secondary Research
• As per the views of Gould Chuda (2021) the history
of the Faberge eggs is dated 136 years ago when Tsar
Alexander the third of Russia commissioned Peter
Karl Faberge to create a jeweled egg as an Easter gift
for his wife Empress Maria Feodorovna.

Design Development
• Annotation: This sketch
showcases the design developing
process as Victorian elements
were utilized to be added as a
pattern on the exterior of the egg
on which stones and other
jewelry can be crafted.

• Annotation: This design was
selected in order to be placed at
the bottom of the Faberge egg
because it created Victorian
pattern surrounding the egg
which reflected the royal
association of the Faberge egg.

Statement of Intent
• After making the final design it is
analyzed that the main area which
needs to be focus of the report is the
past associated with the Feberge egg
production including the impact of
Russian Revolution on its value and
popularity around the world.

Final Design Outcome

Evaluation
• The strength of the investigation
included the primary search
which was completed with
detailed sketches an addition of
the interior as well as exterior of
the future egg.

CONCLUSION
• From the above presentation it is concluded that the
history of February eggs was influenced by the Russian
Revolution as the Russian Revolution affected the
craftsmanship of Faberge eggs in Russia along with the
mean patrons of production of Faberge eggs including
the imperial family of Russia at the time.
