They are also suppose to promote quality of care, and individuals are able to attain treatment and services. Issues such as long working hours, difficulties in attaining sick leaves and reducing cost of overtime staff.Due to having difficult work culture there are different problems in the workplace which should be the followed by the nursing staff and need to perform different task in difficult way.Also, it has been observed that another major issue of workplace employees are not permanent. Lack of permanent members can also contributes factors such as lack of motivation and encouragement towards work (Jeong & Kim, (2018)).In this lead to complete the impact on delivering of healthcare to the patient and lead to impact quality care and their working performance which should be in the better way for delivery of healthcare services to the patients (Jeong & Kim, (2018)).
As per the case study, employee retention is also the one of the main factor that can have high impact on the delivery of healthcare services to the patient. Due to workforce and different reasons there are various difficulties which has been faced by the nursing staff. This lead to create the negative impact on the delivery of services and create impact on the workplace and delivering quality of care and services which impact on the growth and development of the nursing staff. These are some of the reason due to which it is hard to retain nursing staff at the workplace and creates the crisis of nursing staff which impact the quality of care.This further conclude job dissatisfaction, absenteeism and so on (Jeong & Kim, (2018)). Another issue that can be considered as employee turnover.This is one of the major reason which impact the workplace and delivering of healthcare services to the patient. This is the one which directly impact the workplace and delivering better services to the patient(Jeong & Kim, (2018)).Due to increased employees turnover, it needs time and cost for the proper training of nursing staff for better delivering of healthcare services to the patient(Jeong & Kim, (2018)).When nursing staff left the workplace it creates difficulties for the organization which is highly difficult to maintain and fulfil the required number of nursing staff in the premises (Ryan, (2017)). Moreover, in healthcare sector, the issue of unavailability of required workforce is global challenge.Thereis highdemand to maintain the required designated employee at the workplace in order to provide services in systematic manner (Ryan, (2017)). due to shortage of workforce atthedesignatedareas, it isdifficultyfor themto perform their job role. It can also lead to work stress for an individualfor proper delivering of healthcare services to service users. There are working areas where teamwork is required due shortage of workforce, practitioners usuallyperuseovertimeandthislongworkinghoursofpractitionersleadstoconduct professional issues. This factor termed to be barrier in workflow of health practitioners which createsdifficultiesin delivering of healthcare services insystematic manner. This also impact the quality of care and professional practices. New recruits should be hired in order to overcome form this issue, who have qualities such as teamwork and leadership which are most important skills in health care sectors to work(Ryan, (2017)). This high engagement of multiple number of nursing staff can lead to impact the delivery care to large number of healthcare services to patients, consumer and stakeholders(Jeong & Kim, (2018)).Due to less number than required nursing staff also impact the deliver of quality care and professional practices which impact the patient, consumer and healthcare professionals. In some evidence base study reflected that adding great perks in health care setting can be effective(Fenwick, (2018)).Adding perks can help to attract and retain employees at the workplace which can impact the quality due to satisfaction of nursing staff in the workplace.
