Motivation is one of the essential part of organisation that will assist in encouraging employees
to perform business task and practices in significant manner. It is essential for organisation to
conduct different motivational activities in order to encourage and influence performance level
of employees. There are several factors which will lead to motivate employees for working
effectively and efficiently (Grant and Shandell, 2021). This report is based on Marks and
Spencer company. This is a well known British company which is providing different types of
high quality products and services in order to meet with the needs of several customers. Marks
and Spencer organisation is dealing in retail sector and it was developed by Michael Marks and
Thomas Spencer. Head office of this company is located in London, England, UK. This report
includes information about the different factors that will motivate employees to work. Apart
from this, different positive and negative factors employees experience as a result of their job
roles has been determined.

will have to deal with high stress When employees are not content with their jobs, they
are substantially more liable to experience and report stress at work. While working for a
particular job role an employees will have to deal with several types of job stress which
affect the their physical and mental health. It is essential that workers who are satisfied or
cheerful at work are substantially less liable to report feeling stressed out by their job.
Issue in work life balance – This is negative factors that is faced by an individual while
working at a particular job role. It is essential for a person to have a proper work life
balance so that they can give time to their family and friends along with the job role. It
has been identified that due to job role, individual is not able to have proper work life
balance and this negatively affects their personal and professional work life.
