iiABSTRACTCOVID-19 pandemic is a “wicked problem” characterized by multiple competingproblemsthatseem to conflictwith each other,such asprotecting livesandsustaining livelihoods.Butthis problem can be solved through more creativity andinnovation, and this innovation has begun in response to the pandemic.Some of theinnovations have helped to reduce the risk of exposure to the coronavirus,such asalcoholdistilleriesthatproduce hand sanitizersand DIY 3D printed face maskmanufacturers. There also have some creativity and innovation actions that taken bythe construction industry during and after the COVID-19 pandemic to help the sectorundergo this globalhealth crisis period.This article willtalk aboutthe impactofCOVID-19 pandemic to the construction industry and also the implementation ofcreativity and innovation on construction industry during and also after the COVID-19 pandemic. Not only to go through this pandemic, creativity and innovation enableto benefit construction industry from continuous learning and improvement.Havingstandard parts kits encourages innovation in manufacturing,because manufacturersfocus on improving process efficiency, rapid development of secondary or derivativeproducts, or expanding their product applicability.All the lessons learned have beenlearned and fed back into future projects,components and processes, and have beencontinuously improved,allowing usto enteravirtuouscircleofincrementalinnovation benefiting the manufacturing industry.At the time of writing this article,we have been looking for examples of how this transformation has taken place,buthonestly,itisimpossible to bring justice to allthe effortsmade by so manycompanies to unite to help communities and governments fighthealth.crisis.Wehave only listed a few examples, but there are obviously more examples.
