“Fall prevention”
INTRODUCTION
The fall prevention in the healthcare setting show the aspect which is well related with the fear of
falling become more common as the people age, even among the those who has been fallen. It
may show the impact which is related with the older people in order to avoid such activities
which may create issue such as walking, shopping and taking part in social activities. The fall is
most common issue which is based among the general population. These fall are well focused on
the result of injury in the serious ways which may create various issue such as fracture and many
more. There are various of issue that is presented within the healthcare setting, in this, one of the
most frequently documented risk assessment of fall which have documented towards the well-
established fall risk factor that is hospital setting (Lin & et. al., (2022). The elder people are
showing high prevalence that is well related with the issue of fall within the healthcare setting.
Therefore, the proper prevention is used within the healthcare setting which may show the aspect
which must reduce the issue which is well related with the fall prevention. If someone is
admitted in the hospital, then the common measure is used to take such as bed and staying seated
in order to reduce the risk of falling during the staying in hospital. The nurses and other caregiver
are usually ensuring the easy access to the thing which may require the food, water and phone. In
the report, the major of discussion is based on fall prevention (Lin & et. al., (2022).
SMART GOALS
Specific: The goals which is well related with the fall prevention is proper monitoring of stairs,
surface, floor, bathroom and washroom. In addition, reduce the risk which may show the
contribution for the issue of fall. Therefore, the prevention is used to taken in order to provide the
context that is related with the issue of fall. Monitoring may provide the detail evaluation of
place and the prevention is used to taken that reduce the issue of fall.
Measurable: The floor and other essential area such as bathroom, washroom and many more.
Therefore, the prevention may carry by using the risk assessment that carry the aspect which
must reduce. To prevent fall among elder people the assistance is used to provide that reduce the
risk.
