This case study depicts the story of Massey-Wright family. Luke Massey and
Mathew Wright are in a strong relationship for the last 10 years. Due to the change in the
marriage act, they decided to marry in this year. As they are involved in a homosexual
relationship, they maintained privacy in their workplace as much as possible. For avoiding
the social interactions in their personal life they decided to live on the far side of the town. In
case of Luke, it is stated that he had adequate support from the family and on the contrary,
Mathew only had support from his mother Carmel and his father could not accept the sexual
orientation of his son. Mathew and Luke had a child by taking help from the surrogate mother
named Amber. Apart from that, the Mathew and Luke had a strong friend circle and their
friends were very respectful about their relationship as well. Marcus Nile was the family
friend of Mathew and Luke and the rent given Marcus provides financial support to Luke and
Mathew. Marcus was considered as the family friend of Luke and Mathew and he also took
care of Phobe, while the child was sick and unable to attend the daycare.
