Introduction
The consideration of family involvement in the promotion of health status in nursing
practices is an emerging trend in the healthcare sector. Family involvement is also one of the
primary considerations in advanced nursing care/practice. There are few tools used in
assessing the importance of effective communication in the family during health promotion
practices. The Australian Family Strengths Nursing Assessment guide helps all nurses in
