According to the data that has been gathered by conducting online survey, it can be stated
that most of the respondents in the survey follow fashion trends (Badewi 2016). Hence, it is
required to focus on the impact of globalization and follow the demands of the people. Proper
understanding of the demands and taking effective actions to fulfill the demands would assist
Liberty to gain competitive benefits in the market.
On the other hand, people like to spend nearly 100-200 pound money yearly for
purchasing fashion related products. As the impact of globalization in growing day by day, the
amount spent on the fashion products is also increasing in a significant rate (Turner and Ledwith
2018). Hence, the business organizations need to focus on the matter. Most of the people
associated in the fashion industry has been found as the age between 18 and 24. Therefore,
Liberty needs to focus on the age group segment and provide suitable offers to fulfill their
demands. When asking question about how often they shop for clothes, most of the respondents
have responded that they shop once every 6 month. However, the number of respondents who
like to buy clothes or fashion products are not in less number. Hence, management of the
organizations need to be attached with the customers through multiple channels.
According to Hornstein (2015), with rapid growth of information and communication
technology, the use of smart phones is increasing every day that results in increasing online
sales. In the survey, any respondents have said as preferred channel for buying fashion products.
Thus, the business organizations need to focus on developing e-commerce websites so that
people can buy products online (Too and Weaver 2014). On the contrary, many of the
respondents have opined that they do not like to buy products from online store as there is lack of
Touch and Feel, which is one of the major aspects for purchasing fashion related products. In this
perspective, the organizations need to keep an eye on this matter. The globalization has changed

the phenomenon through minimizing the costs of transportation and increasing accessibility of
people to the new fashions across the world (Pollack and Adler 2014). The demand as well as
competition have driven physical drivers in order to open online store. E-commerce works a
main channel to minimize the cost of advertising, direct management of the promotion campaign
using the visual power as well as latest technology online. The tools of modern communication
such as internet forums have enabled the process of developing as well as spreading new
technological innovations that increases effectiveness of production in the nations. With the fast
development of internet, the e-commerce can easily apply the marketing mix to a number of
audiences in a short period. Hence, application of innovative technologies can be helpful for
Liberty to sustain in the market with respective position. Moreover, globalization has resulted in
exchanging the ideas as well as gathering information about availability of textile fabrics as well
as production that results a rise in the products’ demands.
Quality and price are the major components of a product. Hence, the organizations need
to focus on both of these aspects when selling products online (Morris et al. 2016). In addition,
Liberty needs to understand the requirement of people about the preferred brand and fulfill the
choices from the cultures individually so that customers irrespective of their ethnicity, they feel
comfortable to purchase at their own choices.
2.2 Recommendations based on the data analysis
The globalization has resulted growth of the generic markets by taking benefits of the
market. All developments as the part of globalization have outcome in improving competition
among the marketers of the industry and do not increase pressure to reconstruct unlike different
industry. However, it has been argued that globalization has enhanced the conditions of
the phenomenon through minimizing the costs of transportation and increasing accessibility of
people to the new fashions across the world (Pollack and Adler 2014). The demand as well as

development of the nations through enhancing access to the process of medication and by joining
organizations such as World Trade Organization. It enabled the process by providing compulsory

through different intensities. The intensity of impact is different for the industries that depends
on the nature as well as structure of the industry. The globalization has positive as well as
negative impact on performance of the industry.
Fashion business of Liberty can maintain a website in order to promote the products and
sell them. E-commerce of the organization would be helpful in spreading awareness regarding
the organization and its products. On the other hand, as the use of internet is not limited to the
process of sales as well as marketing of a product, it is used in managing the procedure followed
by organizations. Hence, the organization needs to focus on some aspects like followed.
Expanding the global markets through e-commerce site
Increasing online access as well as penetration of smartphone
Innovation of technologies for creating experimental ecommerce
However, Liberty needs to focus on the death of brand loyalty due to fragmentation of
market and combating return rate cost as high as 50%. In addition, fast fashion ability for
manufacturing styles based on the demands and pressure from the customers using ethically
sources as well as green manufacturing materials are the threats for developing and
implementing the project plan.

This research has helped me in understanding the impact of globalization in the business
expansion of any company. In this case, Liberty needs to track down all strategies that needs to
be implemented in the business. The above data points provide a good understanding about the
impact of globalization on fashion industry and developing effective project management plan to
mitigate the issue. The application of e-commerce would be the biggest reasons for showing
regional as well as traditional apparel that are becoming trendy and demanding. On the other
hand, apparel, accessories, footwear and electronics items becomes popular. Within the retail
industry, disruption of traditional models of business has provided the way to make the
transformative change needed online as well as offline sales. According to the Omni-channel
