The Veterans Administration is normally a benefactor and not a financer of healthcare amenities.
The Department of Veterans Affairs (commonly abbreviated as VA) is by stature obliged to
deliver VA-enrolled veterans with access to eminence and promptly medicinal care (Harrison &
Ogniewski, 2005). It does so by the state’s leading cohesive healthcare delivery scheme. Among
veterans registered in Veterans Administration health care, most live in rural or highly rustic
regions. Related to metropolitan veterans, countryside veterans are more prone to corporeal
disorder, greater health care needs and lower health-related quality of life (Trynosky, 2014).

This is a health center located in Mississippi and in relation to improving its quality it has a
patient’s portal where all information and data about a patient is stored. Its reporting is done
through a news portal and has further formed an events portal where all events are
communicated to the interested parties prior to their happenings. A new patient is also given an
opportunity of finding his or her own doctor of choice by filling in some information that allows
filtering and matching of a patient to a doctor.
The benefits accompanying this are that a patient can establish a personal relationship with its
doctor (Choudhry, Fletcher, & Soumerai, 2005). One is also in the limelight of events of the
hospital and with their extended working hours, a patient can access their services at
convenience including setting up an appointment online with one’s doctor. It has also provided
its location and contact information on its web page thus allowing its patients to access the
nearest available clinics in cases of emergency (Kellermann, & Jones, 2013).
