Britain European Union Economic Partnership
Under the membership of the European Union that states that UK in the current model
are tagged with the membership of a single market where no barriers, tariffs, duties or quotas are
applied for the movement of goods and services. The economic impact of the Brexit could be
well understood with the help of various factors that would be highlighting the exit of UK from
the European Union. The rules and regulations initially applied in the context of European Union
laws but countries within the European Union must pass their own law that should be approved
by the European Union Legal Body (Colantone and Stanig 2018). UK would have to leave the
free single market and the customs union that would actually end the free movement and the
associated jurisdiction in the European Court of Justice in the country. The country would have
to separate itself from the Common Fisheries Policy and Common Agricultural Policy that would
be ending the huge amount of money to the European Union they used to receive on an annual
basis (Assets.publishing.service.gov.uk 2019). In terms of laws and regulations the European
Union Commission take important decisions that binds to UK. The European Commission
proposes and drafts laws in the context of legal and regulatory requirements, whereby the
European Parliament approves the laws, but the same, may change after Brexit. UK is the
member of custom union whereby UK is not permitted to negotiate with other bilateral trade
deals. The existing free trade policy agreement with the 56 countries that provides better access
to global markets. Access to global market with countries like Korea, Mexico and Chile may not
available to UK after the announcement of Brexit. However, in the context of Freedom of People
in terms of movement and work undertaken by them may also be hampered with the Brexit.
Thus, operations and investment may be affected within the European Union Region and UK as
