The business is the important area which manages all the functions and the growth
through which the generation of the revenue is being analysed and managed. All the business
organisation are comprised of the managers, employees and the consumers. In all the functioning
of the business there is been see n that the employees plays a major role as they opt and frame all
the working to be adapted and managed (Abdelaal, Khater and Zaki, 2018). Any of the firm
cannot be operated without the employees and the effective management and working. The
organisation chosen in this report is Fit flop this is a well known brand which deals with
footwear and are being present in different areas in the world. In this report their will be
discussed the roles of the leadership and also the culture and the structure of the company with
their effective management and working through all the transitional change. Further it will also
provide the theories in relation to the motivation with the tuck man model as it helps in
identifying all the strategies for the company.

qualities of the leaders are like the good communication with providing the motivation top the
leaders through all embarking orders (Acevedo, 2018). As the Fit Flop company applies the
participative leadership in their company in which they manage all the responsibilities by
delegating and managing it for further working and responsibilities. All the employees over their
have the equal right to share their views and also to maintain the formation of the strategies and
the adaptability in the participative manner. they are merely being encouraged by their leaders to
come up with some innovative approach and the ideas which will helps in growth and the

success of the company. Some of the major roles of the leadership are being mentioned
thereunder: Motivator- In order to manage the general motivation of the employees there are some
many ways and the options being available some of them are like the money, promotions,
perks and many more all these aims out to maintain the positive approach within the
company. All the leaders thereby focus on managing the motivation as they draws and
make their employees to feel motivated by the different productivity and the motivating
manner through perks and the appreciations. It is also been given to them by opting and
managing different kind of theories which are being available(Anderson, 2019). Coach- All the leaders carry out different kind of roles in which they maintain the
development of the future career and the goals and this also implies to guide all the
employees towards their further targets and the specific areas. Learner- This considers to have the important role in order to manage the firms to
perform all the effective functioning of the leaders. All the leaders focus on being gaining
growth in the future and they also aim to manage the employees growth and the
adaptability through which the better growth and the development can be applied. So the
leaders are required to learn in every phase so that they can eventually gain and give the

requirements in the firm. All the elders manage to listen all the work and the managers in
proper manner and this is generally being done so that they can communicate in proper
manner. They manage all the effective roles and the responsibility through which the

team to be managed properly so their will not be any conflicts which are been
addressed(Caouette and O’Connor, 2019). Role culture- In this culture two phases are opted they are like the high degree
centralization and the high degree formalisation. It helps out in managing all the
regulations and the rules with the formulas their is been opted the major roles and the
responsibility through which the qualification can eventually manage all the
understanding of the employees.

been recommended that the task culture is the better option which can be applied and
managed by the company as this implicates and provides all the management of the

reason to work . It is a big concept that is used by the organizations to make the individuals
purposeful towards their work by providing them a willingness to work. It is very essential for
managers of the organization to increase the performance and productivity level of their
employees in a positive way and it is easy to achieve through providing motivation to them
(GoedeBoshuizen‐van Burken, 2019).
Theories of Motivation :
Motivation is a complex concept that is perceived by different researchers according to
their own perceptions. As it has a great impact on the performance of the employees by making
them productive towards the work , authors provide their own theories of motivation to be
applied by the organizations in their business practices. Some essential and eminent theories of
motivation are explained hereunder :

Maslow's Hierarchy theory : This theory of motivation is mostly used worldwide. It was given
by the famous author Abraham Maslow. It focuses on fulfilment of five basic needs of human
beings. These needs are put in a hierarchy according to their importance in a pyramid form. It is
based on the values and needs of individuals. According to the level of values, Following is the
heirarchy of Maslow' motivational theory :
 Psychological needs : It is the most fundamental need of the individuals, including the
fulfilment of key basic requirements of humans such as -food, clothes, shelter etc.
 Safety needs : It is the second basic necessity of individuals that refers to the need of
feeling secure, loved and having a safety from factors like natural calamities etc.
 Love and Belonging needs : It refers to those requirements of individuals that asks for
harmony and good relationships with other individuals to ignore loneliness. It includes
family building, sexual interactions, love relations etc.
 Esteem needs : It states the respect and value of the individuals that they want to be
respected by others living in the society(Genevrier, Zambrzhitskaia and Yagodin, 2019)
 Self actualisation needs : It is the last need of the heirarchy that refers to the
enhancement of potential and productivity of the individuals. It involves personal beliefs
of self promotion and growth.
Herzberg Theory of Motivation : It was provided by Herzberg and Vroom in the year 1964.
This theory is also known as Two factor theory as it considers two factors of workplace for
providing motivation. Those factors are – Satisfiers or Motivational factors and Dissatisfiers or
Hygiene Factors. These two factors are explained below :
 Motivational factors : These are Satisfiers or inbuilt factors of the workplace that
provide satisfaction by fulfilling needs of individuals. It includes the following identified
factors :

 Hygiene factors : These factors reduce the level of dissatisfaction of the individuals.

Tuck man's model : This model was provided by Bruce Tuck in 1965 to promote teamwork. Its
objective is to make team members take their responsibility for performing the tasks at-hand by
maintaining harmony with team members. It involves 4 steps that are mentioned below :
 Forming : It refers to the process of forming a team and allocation of tasks among team
members. It includes creating good relations among team members, planning for the team
as a whole for achieving team objectives and thereby achieving organization's overall
goal(KristineDeAnne, 2018).
 Storming : It involves formulation of strategies for the performance of tasks. Strategy is
formulated by getting different ideas from all team members and choosing the best
possible one to be implemented.
 Norming : It refers to bringing awareness about the policies, rules and regulations
among the team members. The responsibility of ensuring whether the rules are being
followed or not is given to ideal team members.
 Performing : It is the last step of this model that is done after consideration of the above
steps. It involves the practical execution of the tasks planned.
This model can manage effective team building and also enhance the performance and
the quality of work of all the company and it helps in managing the production enhancement,
quality of services and effective team building.
Strategies
It is mainly all such planning which are being used by the company in order to gain the
objectives. Fit Flop can opt certain strategies through which growth can be managed. Their are
various factors which are being used by the company in order to motivate the employees they are
like:

 Rewards and appreciations- as when the employees get the proper rewards that are
managed with good efficiency there is being laid that it will motivate the employees and
will make them to manage all the worthy and also the efficiency through which all the
factors are being opted. The employees on all such areas get the motivation and will work

managing the motivation and hygiene of the workers. Tuckman model helps to manage the teams
management.
