pandemic in hospitality industry. The present study is based on Rosewood Hotel & Resorts is an
international luxury hotel and resort company that operating more than 29 hotels in 17 countries.

The aim of the study is to identify the impact of covid-19 on employees' motivation in Rosewood
Hotel.
Rationale-
The reason behind choosing this topic is to understand the impact of covid-19 on
employee motivation during the flexible working hours. In context to Hospitality industry it has
been analysed that it is affected while pandemic in order to face different challenges such as
changing working pattern. At that time industry decided to offered flexible working hours to
employee so that it help to improve their performance also motivating them by providing them
positive culture. This is also considered as the hardiest hit for service oriented sector when Covid
19 impact on its productivity. Further, employee motivation are helps to improve the level of

secondary. In the primary data collection method researcher collection directly through
respondents by interview, survey or questionnaire, this is also called first-hand data while
secondary research is based on second hand data that can be collected by someone else earlier
with the help of government publications, website and journals etc. For the print research both
the method is used in order to get authentic results.

to improve employee motivation. Present study was based on Hospitality sector that is impacted
by covid-19 and that is why there were many companies which offer flexible workings hours to
employees. Rosewood hotel use different type of motivation strategy which help to improve
working pattern of employees.
Further, evaluated the relationship between flexible working hours and employee’s
motivation, it has been identified that this is related to positive relationship in order to focus
more on increasing productivity of organization. Then with the help of intrinsic and extrinsic

Also, this is also this is beneficial for long term success of company in order to more focus on
keeping motivated employees. Study suggested different type of strategies which can be used by

company in future that will help to deal with situation like pandemic.
RECOMMENDATION
It has been recommended that organization should work on improving the corporate and
team culture in order to focus on improving productivity of company. When employees
are motivated it helps to create positive environment at workplace. This is also beneficial
for reflecting on the basis of providing equal value to all the employees. Also, it helps to
providing the benefit of contributing in skills and objectives so that it includes sharing
knowledge and ideas to each other.
Develop modern work environment is suggested in order to use critical motivational
strategies, during flexible working hours every employee are expecting to get office
should be pleasured to work where they comfortable while eat lunch, work chill etc.
This is also recommended that on the employee’s portal it is necessary to praise
employee in front of other, so they feel motivated and improve their performance in order
to better collaborate with teams and colleagues. This is a better way to engaging with
each other in order focus more on developing team building and engaging with their
work.

In the future, I will increase the survey question which will help me to analyse the
response of employees in better way. Also, present research helpful for organization in order to
provide better implication regarding employee motivation. This is support by different type of
strategies that can be adopted by company in order to increase its productivity. Further, study
provided the importance of flexible working hours on employee motivation.
