Abstract
Fog and edge becomes pillar of internet of things. It offers several
emerging things of infrastructure that exploits unlimited resource.
The study will demonstrate the computing characteristics as well as
evaluating the feasibility of the applications in difficult scenario.
In addition, the current paper has purposes to create a functional hybrid
platform for IoT through implementing a combination of fog/edge
technology with the combination of cloud technology.

Introduction
With rapid growth of technology, internet becomes a major part of
human life. Present life requires edge internet for the purpose of
increasing production in several fields like operation as well as control
engineering.
The innovation of Internet of things (IoT) has a great influence on human
life [3]. Hence, it becomes important to develop a empirical study that
has potential for enriching the lifestyle as well as productivity as utilizing
the process that can be monitored and deployment phase.
Hence, through an amalgamation of IoT, cloud as well as fog computing
can be incorporated through a higher level of automation resulting more
productivity and creativity.

Background of the study
Cisco has made a remarkable change in fog technology through
developing the platform and made the application available for fog
computing.
IOX and Linux enable the resource capability of sharing the developed
devices in the environment. The cloudlet solution produces the generic
edge devices related to the virtual platform deployed through
Openstack+.
It remains important categorizing the concept to multiple scenarios that
are potential so that anyone can be able to evaluate technical feasibility
as well as projects a design in term of architecture, which can be
effectively be deployed in the IoT associated process.

Significance and purpose of the
study
The significance of the research is enhancing the livelihood of the
human society. The concept of edge and fog computing remains a
significant part as it makes easier and enhance the living standards by
enhancing production in several fields.
On the other hand, trying to fulfill the demands, the dependency of the
Cloud can be minimized.
The purpose of the study is carrying out an investigation regarding the
concept of edge and fog technology that influences livelihood of human
societal live standards.

Aim, objectives and research
questions
The aim of the study is minimizing the cost of IOT based applications through
minimizing cloud dependency. In addition, minimizing the global internet traffic.
The objectives of the study are:
To identify the type of resource needs for the applications based on IOT
To find out the strength and weakness of cloud based Internet of things that are
existing
The research questions are:
What is the computational model that is used in the cloud sim?
What is the connection between internet and cloud computing?
What are cloud system and its importance?
What is edge technology and it importance to the current technology?
What is fog computing?
