AC 2.1 Statutory regulations that effect
facilities operations.
 Being the Facilities Manager of Hilton Internation has to
follow various regulations and legislations that impact
facilities operations.
 Data Protection Act and Freedom of Information Act, Public
Records Act are some laws that are applied in an organisation.
 Fair work law Act provides right to employees and employers.

 Taxation law makes country a fine place and helps in
obtaining income from company and generates profit for
country.
 These laws are very rigorous with facilities manager of the
organisation.
 As per UK law there should be availability and
implementation of safe and effective environment and useful
policies and practices.

AC 2.2 Health, safety and environmental
measures implemented by facilities manager
Hilton Internation has adopted various safety, health and
environmental measures for the convenience of employees and
customers.
There is Health and Safety Act 1974 taken by UK Government and
implemented by hotel.
There should be proper pest analysis in the rooms of hotel.

 Staff working in the hotel should be properly cleaned up so
that any contiguous disease should not get spread in the hotel.
 On daily basis audits regarding these compliances should be
taken so that they remain healthy and business can be
maximised.

AC 2.3 Documentation required to account
statutory regulations and health and safety
measures
 There is Performance and MIS reports in every department
that ensure the status of different practices undertaken and
documented.
 Various registers and documents are accounted and
maintained for the compliances with different issues and
statutory regulations.
