Abstract
The research will focus ion the study of the issues relevant with the use of information
technology in the food industry. The use of technologies like robots, drones, GMOs increases
the overall productivity. However, it also causes certain damages in the sector where it is
used and lots of issues arises which need proper maintenance so that it does not impact the
productivity. As Australia is one of the biggest competitor in the global market its product
need to be well looked after and the issues need to be resolved. The related issues are related
to the privacy, crop destruction, destruction of the store crop, problem related to tracking,
malfunctioning of the robots. The research is related with such kind of issues and will find
effective methods to prevent the problem.

Introduction
The food industry of Australia is undergoing change at a rapid rate with the evolution
of new technology. The industry helps in improving the economy of the Australia by making
a major contribution however it is important for the rural and the regional areas economy
(Rosin, Stock & Campbell, 2013). In the food industry there have been introduction of certain
new information technology equipment for improving the ways the of farming. The digital
technology is increasing the productivity. There is technology like GMOs, 3-D foot printing,
data analytics and precision agriculture which improves the work process of the food
industry. The main aim is to study the issues and the negative impact of information
technology in the food industry. This research report deals with the issues related with the use
of information technology in the food industry of Australia. It is seen that Australia is
enjoying the quality of food delivered and the sale related to it (Papargyropoulou et al.,
2014). However, it is high time that it looks after the issues related with the use of technology
