Food Safety and HygieneReasonGrading the food store plays a very important part in order to identify the proper foodstores in an area (Mihalic, 2016). This helps the government to understand whichfood stores need improvement.FindingAt the Newton Food Centre (NFC), which consists of Chinese, Malay, Indian andseafood stalls, some of the stalls have grading and some stalls do not display anygrades. Out of most of the grades that are displayed, eight have Grade A, fifty haveGrade B and none has Grade C. However, there were twelve of stalls, which do nothave any grades, which included two beer stalls. Moreover, there was announcement every 30 minutes to remind the customers toreturn the meal trays. But most of stalls served directly to the seat number, fromcustomer gave order. At that point of time, it was seen that although announcementfor returning the trays were made, there were many cleaners around and werehelping to clean up the area of the table. The cleaner staffs were efficient to clean upthe table every minute after the customer stepped out after finishing the meals.Overall, the food hygiene in NFC is clean and over averageAnalysisThe visitors should be encouraged to return the trays to the counter so that they are aware of their contribution to the nature (Lee, 2016). The tourists must be made aware of the sustainable tourism practices that are practiced in the region and they should be encouraged to take active part in the sustainable practices (Jamal & Camargo, 2014).

Customer SatisfactionReasonCustomer satisfaction is a necessary indicator to determine the reputation of the foodstalls (Petzer & Mackay, (2014). It helps in building the trust among the customers,which can help to draw more customers to the food stalls.FindingAt NFC, the evening time are the peak hours. However, in the peak hours, it is easyfor the customers to find seats, as NFC has outdoor and indoor seating area. Thestall owner takes order in a fast manner, and waiting time is about 10 – 15 minutes.According to the Tripadvisor, the overall rating was 4 out of 5. The food rating is 4/5,4/5 for value, 3.5/5 for service and 3.5/5 for atmosphere. There are mostly goodreview by customers who enjoyed the food .However, there are only a few of badcomments on the review of the NFChttps://www.tripadvisor.com.sg/Restaurant_Review-g294265-d804587-Reviews-or10-Newton_Food_Centre-Singapore.html . Walked thoroughly all the stalls, noticed there were some stalls had the accept cardsor cashless, such as Grabpay, NetsPayment, and Alipay. However, mostly werecash payments. If customers need more cash, there was also ATM nearby the area. Analysis
