INTRODUCTION
The problem of food wastage is one of the common problem faced by many countries of
the world. Most of the people of the country has waste the food due to leave the food after eat
and throw them in garbage. It is one of the biggest problem which is faced by many countries
and creates many problem. The problem of wastage are seen in heavy level in Australia. This
report is based on the condition of Australia's food wastage and hunger problem (Kshetri, 2018).
This report provides brief discussion related to the current logistics arrangement in the country
which helps top avoid the food wastage and minimise the level of hunger in the country. It also
provides a description related to the logistics supply used in other countries. It also included
various recommendations which can reduce the problem of hunger from the industry.
TASK
The country of Australia has suffered from the problem of hunger and food wastages
which is not beneficial for the country as it spread negative impact about country in international
arena. There is one of organisation are present in Australia which deals with these problems and
the name of those organisation is FOODBANK Australia. This organisation has focused on the
issues like food safety, wastages and many more (Khan and Yu, 2019). The management of this
organisation has developed different types of strategies in their organisation which are based on
awareness about the food and to work for the reduction of hunger from the country. The level of
hunger in the country are very high as they create many problem for the government of the
country. There are many people are present in the country which has ordered large amount of
food in restaurants and leave the remaining food on the table. This food are thrown in garbage by
the management of hotel. It is analysed from many market surveys that the food leave on the
table after eating can solve the major part of hunger in the country. The management of
FOODBANK has working on the idea of use the remaining food and how they used to solve the
problem of hunger. The management of the organisation has developed different types of
campaigns under which they motivate the people towards the sustainability in food management
(Lai, Sun and Ren, 2018). The problem of hunger are increased day by day which and one of the
survey shows that almost 6,25,000 people of the country has needed the food daily to fulfil their
minimum nutrition. The management of FOODBANK has some strength and weakness which is
important to understand for the purpose to make them improve.
