Foreign policy is an essential aspect of every nation as it helps in determining the
relationship of one state with the other. If the foreign policy of a country is rigid then they
can face an armed conflict. The primary aim of a foreign policy is to make use of diplomacy
by talking as well as making agreements (Smith, Hadfield & Dunne 2016). Foreign policy
thereby prevents problems to take the shape of conflicts that at the end may require military
assistance. Therefore, the primary aim of the essay is to discuss the foreign policy of India as
well as its importance.
Some of the basic principles of India’s foreign policy is to maintain as well as respect
the territorial integrity as well as sovereignty off every state, be non-aggressive towards each
other and avoid being a part of internal affairs of another country (Sridharan, 2017). The
article focuses on bridging the division as well as promoting the discussion between FPA and
Indian Foreign Policy. The main argument is the essay is that latter is now seen as a world

countries like USA and Russia. It focuses on how the Foreign policy of India has shaped over
the years. It particularly focuses on the speech that was delivered by Prime Minister Narendra
Modi. The article further showed as well as revealed that the Prime Minister is one of the
most powerful as well as influencing arbiters of the Indian foreign policy (Blarel & Paliwal
2019). However, the article clearly shows the relationship of mistrust with countries like
Pakistan as well as China where the country is still engaged in mistrust as well as inequality
regarding the above two countries. Even India’s relation with the USA is far from building
