On the 15th day of September year 2019 an authorized search was carried out at residential
premises of the one Mr. Tarek Najjar, 3336 Pick Street, Centennial Colorado. In accordance to
search warrant issued on 11th day of September 2019 by Honorable Wilberforce Allan, Colorado
District Court Magistrate, District Judicial Court of Colorado. The search was carried out by
state investigators from Directorate of Criminal investigations DCI in collaboration with
Colorado County District Attorney’s office (CCDA).
The search commenced at approximately 5 o’clock in the morning. We entered after
investigative agents stating their official purpose. I enter the room with warrant order on my
hand; family surprised not knowing what was going on. People present in the room at the time of
search were Phelicity Najjar, my wife, Stephen Amell Najjar my brother and Naomi Najjar my
younger sister. All were residents of Pick Street Colorado District. I read to them the official
search warrant I had in my hand to make them aware of what I was doing.
I went straight to the study room where computers, microcomputers and other electronic gadgets
were. Before touching anything, I took several still photographs of the room showing the layout
and arrangement of the items prior to the search. This documented the room and its condition
before commencement of the search. With me were other officers from the department of
investigation. Below are their names along with their responsibilities.

All the logs of items within the rooms were maintained and documented showing description
these still photos taken. Part of the team I drew the layout sketch of the house since i was the one
with better understanding of the house more than any other persons conducting the search. The
search was procedural as all activities were carried out in an organized and sequential manner.
All electronics that were in the room were powered off as my family members present at the time
of search together with me voluntarily gave our passwords for the access of the personal
computer to enable forensic search of any criminating evidence related to cyber-attacks.
The enter room was searched in all corners. Checking into very online accessory that was
available within the room at that time. We searched all drawers, shelves and other areas that the
officers deemed suspicious where some accessories might have been.
In pursuant to the ordered warrant these items were located and seized for evidence.

We proceeded with the search to the other four rooms of the house. In the second room that was
store, we found packing cases from brand companies probably indicating where the gadgets were
bought from. The relevant information from these casings were recorded and documented as
evidences from the search. On to the third room that was the sitting room, still photos were
captured showing the orientation of the room with the items that were available at that time. Two
wireless internet routers were found below the TV screen stand.

It was noted that both laptops and desktop were used by their owners to conduct various
activities such as study and other online businesses, and that seizer of these computers may have
unwarranted effect of limiting the individuals ability to access the services. On this account we
printed copies of documents that were most relevant to the case and some screenshots and some
electronic copies of items that were listed on the warrant. All these obtained through successful
coordination from persons present in the house at the time of search. We prepared the register
log where all specification details on each of the computer accessory seized were registered for
evidence. Encryption keys, personal information numbers PIN and passwords that would give us
(investigation officers) access to these seized computer media. The search proved that online
activities were eminent with the computers thus we took record of browser history and cookies,
firewall logs, bookmarked web pages and search terms within internet search engine.
The search ended at approximately 9:40 a.m. with series of exit photos of the premise taken for
documentation on the condition of the room at the end of the search. All the receipt for the
above mention devices together with the copy of search warrant were handed to Stephen Amell
at approximately 9:50 a.m. Amell signed the forms, acknowledging the receipt of these items by
investigation officials.

The search was quite successful as the operative and special agent officers did their task
professionally. All were happy after the exercise as the occupants were very supportive during
the search by providing the necessary access to areas that were asked for by the officials.
