Introduction
WHS as the name suggests is the Work health and Safety laws that are required for an
organization to safeguard their life from any diseases or fatal injuries. WHS laws are
implemented by the organization after consulting the workers and the management to protect the
health and security of the workers and others where there are chances of risk factors (Gollan and
Patmore 2013).
The report highlights the work related casualties and fatalities that might occur while
working in the construction sites in context with the BOWLS WA organization. According to
surveys done, an estimation of the risk factors of the workers while working in the construction
sites are as follows- 31% cuts and open wounds, 21% sprains and strains, 16% chronic joint or
muscle pains.
The risks of these injuries are mainly due to the following causes- 31% of the case is caused due
to hitting or being hit by an object, 30% case is caused by lifting, pulling or pushing of objects
and 15% of the case is caused if fallen from a height.
The report finishes off with legislative agreements and contracts that can be recommended
for implementation in the construction areas where there are high risks of casualty. This gives a

of its employees.

5. The Process of Informing the Workers about the Participation in the Resolution
The workers in BOWLS WA are informed about the WHS resolutions by
distributing pamphlets while participating in the process. The workers are also made
aware by conducting surveys. The organization had also taken initiative to inform their
workers through blogs and other social media platforms (Archer 2012).
6. The Process Induction and Training Program
The departmental managers and the higher authority must conduct training for
both the newly joined and the old members of the working team informing them about
the hazards and risks related to the operational work. Specific attention should be given
