FORTIFICATION OF SAFE WORKPLACE3IntroductionWHS as the name suggests is the Work health and Safety laws that are required for anorganization to safeguard their life from any diseases or fatal injuries. WHS laws areimplemented by the organization after consulting the workers and the management to protect thehealth and security of the workers and others where there are chances of risk factors (Gollan andPatmore 2013).The report highlights the work related casualties and fatalities that might occur whileworking in the construction sites in context with the BOWLS WA organization. According tosurveys done, an estimation of the risk factors of the workers while working in the constructionsites are as follows- 31% cuts and open wounds, 21% sprains and strains, 16% chronic joint ormuscle pains.The risks of these injuries are mainly due to the following causes- 31% of the case is caused dueto hitting or being hit by an object, 30% case is caused by lifting, pulling or pushing of objectsand 15% of the case is caused if fallen from a height.The report finishes off with legislative agreements and contracts that can be recommendedfor implementation in the construction areas where there are high risks of casualty. This gives avivid overview of the WHS responsibilities and the policies of an organization for the protectionof its employees. 1.Policies of WHS Laws of BOWLS WAThe WHS policies of a country lead to the development of the workers’ conditions in thecountry.
