INTRODUCTION Health and social care services are provided by medical institutes to their patients so thatthey can get recovered. Present report is based on cases which describe the situations of differentpeople. In this context, it explains the actions that should be taken by service providers at thetime of providing treatment to patients. TASK 12 1.1 Actions that will be taken by professionals in given situations Healthcare professionals should take some actions for their clients or patients. As per thefirst case, a lady is living at her home but she is partially sighted (Harris-Kojetin and et. al.,2013). In this kind of situation, lady has some visual impairment problems due to which she willnot be able to move from one place to another and her dependency level is high on familymembers. So, professionals can give her a stick or glasses so that she can do her own workeffectively. Along with this, some reminders and alarms can also be used by a blind person sothat they can take medicine on time and their health will be improved. In another case, a lady will be moving into the normal ward from a C-section. Caesareansection is a kind of place where a mother gives birth to baby through a kind of surgery. Thecurrent rate of this has been increased to some extent due to child obesity and increased age ofmother. For this, healthcare professional has to provide care to the mother and child both becausein this case, the risk level is high (Swayne, Duncan and Ginter, 2012). In the ward, observationsare performed by the nurses. For this, blood pressure, heart rate and pain has been checked and ifit is satisfactory, then there is no need for medical review. The last case explains condition of a male soldier who is recovering from amputation.This is the condition where an arm or leg of a person has been removed through surgery. In suchkind of situation, health care professionals need to take care of the patient so that he can recoverfrom such an unbearable pain. Time to time, service provider has to check the condition ofpatient so that his condition can get improved. 2.1 Factors that affect the wellbeing of patientsSome factors are there which can affect the wellbeing of people and their health conditionsin a negative manner (Basinga and et.al., 2011). It is the responsibility of service provider toprovide quality treatment to their patients so that they can get recovered from such situations1
