Corporate social responsibility stands at the center of achieving every goal of the set
united nation sustainable development goals. This is because every goal that the united nation set
revolves around human development, sustainability and lastly equality. It is the role of CSR to
make sure that equality is achieved; human development and sustainability are met. Partnership
and other worldwide CSR funding play a very critical role in ensuring the implementation of the
set SDGs (Deradjat, 2016). CSR goes beyond the management of corporate activities and seeks
on positively impacting on the society as a whole where every company or organization operates.
Among the SDG committed corporate social responsibility is, the management of social
impact programs to win a counterbalance the operations of the company, this can be achieved
through the donation of services and funds and also managing a foundation which will be
partially operated by the company’s income. One of the best ways to achieve a well SDG
determined corporate social responsibility is through engaging all the employees and the
beneficiaries of the social responsibility and coming up with a well set CSR program. ALDI has
published its corporate social responsibility objectives and target which are aligned to cater for
ten sustainability goals. The company has outlined a well elaborate target which rhymes and will
have added to the success and attainment of the united nation sustainable goals

Although the company has left several sustainable goals CSR the ten targeted goals are well
addressed and the SDG CSR of the company looks adorable.
If for example, we consider the first SDG, a well aligned corporate responsibility by the
public or private sector would be the creation of employment opportunities and a healthy
business environment. Through such an initiative the goal on no-poverty can be easily be
achieved without the government having to offer relief support to the people. Moreover, the zero
