INTRODUCTION
Skill development is the process of identifying skill gap as well as to ensure about
developing the skill which are poor. Moreover, it contributes in determining ability to develop
plans and achieve goals. Although it is one of the most important part of student’s life that helps
in developing overall personality. The report has discussed about various skill that is needed in
course of LLM such a research and analytical that contributes in finding accurate data for the
thesis and research paper. Another skill that is useful is communication which helps in
interacting and sharing thoughts and ideas. This skill allows to build healthy relation with others
as well as developing overall personality. The another skill which is very much important is
learning and making use of legal English.

Throughout the LLM I have analysed that I need to improve my communication skill so that I
can share my thoughts and idea properly with other peers. Although I am not that bad in this skill
as I have taken part in MUN and other activities related to debate. But still I need to work hard
on this skill as it is one of the most important in the field of law (Yu, Brown and Thyer,2019).
Moreover, my written communication is good as I have participated in legal writing programme
during LLM that have helped me learn about the way to represent thoughts and ideas in formal
way. I have also gained knowledge during the course that while writing there should be proper
structure of report and in the end the reference need to present as an evidence. Along with this, I
have analysed that with the help of my good writing skill I am able to represent my ideas
properly. However, I need to practice more in oral communication as I make use of hands while
speaking which sometime can be annoying and doesn’t look formal (Hardjati and Febrianita,
2019). In course of LLM I have gained knowledge that lawyer need to have good command on
legal language and it is able to talk and present its case in court firmly and attractively.
Moreover, I have analysed that my listening skill is not good as during the lecture I used to lose
my concentration power and get distracted. This my major weakness during the course and due
to that I was not able to complete my task on time and always have confusion regarding the
