Society cafe which is top cafe in UK who provide range of products and services to
their customers. Now, in the era of digitalization most of the firm are producing range of
product to their customers in order to stay competitive. In the same way, Society cafe is also
wants to introduce the product online for smooth functioning of its operations. It is so
because company is offering the range of product within a limited area, but by offering the
product online, it is able to meet range of new product which in turn leads to increase the
customer loyalty and improve the operations of a business as well.
Company is working within food and beverage industry and in this modern age, every
company wants to stay ahead in the competition. That is why, there is a need to make sure
that this new development within a business is beneficial and company also attract range of
customers as well.
Rationale
The reason behind choosing this specific topic is such that after analyzing the
situation, most of the companies are go through many problem due to COVID-19. After
lockdown most of the companies are offering product online by complying all safety
measures. Therefore, Society Café in Oxford is also looking to provide online services to
their customers so that it will help to attract range of customers and as a result, financial
performance of the company do not affected. On the other side, another reason for
introducing online business is to let met the demand of customers by offering the range of
product to customers which in turn leads to sustain brand image within a market (Shirazi,
Kazemipoor and Tavakkoli-Moghaddam, 2017). Further, through this plan, company will
come to know the needs of customers and then it offer the same product which help to
maintain customer loyalty.
On the other hand, through this plan, Society Café will easily maintain customer base
because through online services, it offer range of new product and services which help to
encourage people to buy the product. Even café offer good and healthy product which is
another USP of a firm that attract range of services.
Project plan milestone
There are around 2 main milestone as per the Gantt chart which are as mention below:

 Selecting the best online application: This is completed within 8 days and with the
help of application, customer select their product and place an order online
 Monitoring each stage: through this, each and every stage is review in proper manner
so that limitation are analyzed and this require 7 days to complete.
Potential return on investment (benefit for company)
The biggest benefit of introducing online business for the company is to increase the
financial performance of the company and maintain customer loyalty as well. Such that, in
this competitive era, every company wants to provide innovative product to consumer and
that is why, Society Café also provide online product services to the users in which it develop
online application which help to attract customers by offering discount and coupons for
regular customers (Benefits of using online service within a company, 2020). Even with the
help of online product, company improve the client service through greater flexibility and
also increase professionalism which provide positive impact upon the customers. On the
other hand, it also provide opportunities in order to manage the business from anywhere in
the world. Further, it also decrease paper waste which help to cost saving that improve the
financial performance of the company.
With the help of online offerings, company deliver the product fast and this in turn
leads to increase confidence among customers. Thus, both customer and company are
benefitted from online services because it will have an opportunity to purchase product and
service 24 hours and this in turn leads to increase the customer loyalty as well (Rumane,
2016). Moreover, it is also reflected that by investing a little amount, company is able to
generate the best output along with better customer relationship which help to meet the define
aim and objectives as well.
Project plan and budget
The project plan is the define document which provide a complete overview of entre
project and this are as mention below:
Goal: The goal of the project is to introduce online services to the customers which
help to attract range of customers and also improve the financial performance. Further, this
online service will assist Society Café to increase the sales up to 20% which in turn leads to
sustain the brand image at local level.
Key stakeholder: The key stakeholder for the company are customers, employees,
suppliers who assist the firm to execute the plan in better manner. Further, employees of the

company make sure that they provide same product which customers need and this in turn
leads to attract customers (Stretton, 2019). Further, suppliers are those who provide food and
other product to customers within a define time period so that it will help to increase the
customer loyalty.
Scope: The scope of this project is to increase financial performance so that range of
customer attracted. Most of the café already set up their online services and that is why, there
is a need to focus on this which help to attract the range of customers. Also, with the help of
online service, company build a brand image and if the service is up to the mark and offer
high quality product will help the business to draw attention of many customers.
Schedule: The schedule of the project is as mention in Gantt chart and the project
require around 36 days to complete and execute the same in market.
Resources: To execute the project in better manner, project manager require financial
resources, technological resources and human resources which help to make the entire project
successful. But make sure that these resources are high in quality and do not cause any
negative impact upon the project.
Risk: There are many risk associated with the project such that technical fault, not
meet with the specific deadline that may delay the project. That is why there is a need to
make risk register which help to meet the define aim and also provide ways to solve the issue
so that project is completed in specific time frame (Kerzner, 2017).

By summing up above it has been concluded that introducing online services to the
customer is the good and effective project for Society Café because it will help to attract
range of customer and benefitted for customers as well. Therefore, through the above
research, if project manager completed the task as per the define deadline, then it will be
easily completed and as a result, company gets benefitted from the same as well.
On the other side, it has been also concluded form the above report that with the help
of proper budget, company is able to introduce new services within its working environment
which in turn leads to improve customer relationship as well as improve the financial
performance too.

By using Gibbs model of reflection, experience of a task is easily express and the
model is divided into five key stages which are as mention below:
The whole experience during a project is so good and I also learn many new things
that will help me in my future. As introducing the online application and service for the café
is new concept because earlier Society Café do not focus on such things, but I think that this

I think that it was the best experience I ever had. During the project, I learn many things and
with the help of my colleagues I am able to execute the things in better manner.
While performing the project, I feel so nervous and excited because earlier I do not
perform any task in project management and thus, I think it provide me lot of opportunities to
execute the project in better manner. Before conduct the study, I am not sure that I will
perform the project but with the help of my tutor and week drills, I am able to complete the
entire project in well manner and also feel happy because of successful completion. On the
other side, I also think that I use all the key skills which developed during the project in my
future so that it will help to perform the project In more better manner.
During the project, I analyzed that I gain many skills such that communication skills
which I gain during week 6. This is analysed during classroom discussion, presentation and
report. I think that this skill will help me in my future when I also conduct the business in
which communication skills plays an important role in customer dealing. On the other side, I
also analysed that I do not have good knowledge regarding ICT but when I conduct the
project, I use Microsoft Office programs in which I present Gantt chart that helps to
determine the task deliverables. As earlier I was not aware with these skills but when i start
dong project, I develop this skills. Also, I develop Work break down structure through MS
office and this in turn helps me to develop creativity and also analyse that there are many
ways through which I develop this in order to look it more presentable.
On the other hand, I also present budget for the new project in which I develop my
numeracy skills. Also, during the activities, with the help of data presentation and statistics, I
also develop the skills and this in turn shows that it will also help me in my future. On
contrary side, I also analysed that there is a need to enhance my presentation skills which is
necessary for every project and even in order to meet my define goals, I have to improve time
management and presentation skills. Through the project, I learn many new things and
analyse that with the help of verbal communication, I am able to share the views to other and
this in turn leads to manage the work. For instance, in order to execute the online services
within Society Café, there is a need to team work and at that time, with proper delegation of
work and clearly define task will help me to meet the define aim and let other members
analyse the need of this project as well.
Further, in the next stage of Gibbs model, I evaluated that I improve my problem
solving skills because by analysing and collecting information during the unit as well as

submission of the assignment, I enhance the skills. This skill also help me to present the study
in well manner. As per the secondary research I analyse that there are many articles and
books selected for justifying the project choice and this is possible because of having problem
solving skills within a project that helps to select the best articles out of many. Therefore, I
evaluated that this skills help me to conduct the entire project in well manner and that is why,
I am able to deliver the project successfully.
Moreover, I also evaluated that I develop skills of working with other such that during
a unit, I am working with my team where I learn team working abilities and also realize that
working with others is more beneficial rather that working individually. It is so because team
working helps to provide new ideas and creativity mind and also ready to solve problems,
while working individually means, no one help to make decision better and this may
somehow leads the entire project into negative manner. Thus, there are range of
employability skills which I developed during the project and it also help me to complete the
project and provide better experience than others. Moreover, I also develop organizing skills
which help me to develop the entire work in better manner and this in turn leads to manage
the work and successfully deliver the project as well.
From the above, I concluded that the entire project provides me an opportunity to
develop and raise new skills which will definitely use in my future. Such that while
conducting the study, I develop ICT skills, organizing skills, numeracy skills, communication
skills which include verbal and written skills, problem solving skills, team working abilities
that somehow help in personal as well as professional life. Therefore, I also concluded that
this project provide me an opportunities to work in better manner and also learn new things
from each task. As earlier I do not perform Gantt chart and WBS but with the study on week
drills, I am able to perform the entire project in well manner and also meet the define aim.
Though I also analysed some skills which needs to be developed when I perform future
project so that it will easily help to present the project and study in well manner.
Through the above, I analysed that there is a need to develop presentation skills and
for that is have to attend the training session and use creative ideas to present a single project
in many ways. This strategy will help me to meet the define aim and also assist to improve
the presentation skills so that in near future, I am able to present the data in more specific
manner. On the other side, I also realize that I lack time management skills and that is why,
there is a need to work on this, for that I make a list of work as per the priority and also set

the deadlines which help me to manage the work accordingly. This is the best method which
help me to complete the project in define time and this in turn leads to improve the time
management skills. Further, I should also start reading books which help me to set the
activities and this in turn leads to manage the work and improve the time management skills
as well. Thus, these action plan are for 6 months for both skills improvement so that
whenever I take same project in near future, I will easily manage the work and present the
entire project in better manner as well.
