FUNDATIONS OF EDUCATION2 Philosophy can make people think on their deepest level of existence. This leads to have some key elements which are drawn from Judeo-Christian scriptures. One of the element is biblical scholarship. This plays a very important role within the Christian educators who intend to become the biblical scholars. Through the biblical scholarship, sound theology helps in fostering the love for God and also helps in lending a credibility towards teaching. It also compels the students to learn or realize that the person who is teaching them, is imparting truth on them and not the personal opinion. The other element is truth not subject. Due to most people being raised through the public schools and nonspiritual colleges, most of them have been cultivated with that knowledge of education and evaluation of individual subjects. Therefore, the main goal for teaching is to help people get a certain knowledge (Childs, 2015). The Bible clearly brings out moral and divine instruction for the believers in a general way. This is because the Bible residences itself as a high value for the knowledge of God and His own exertion. It helps in the description of moral and divine fruits that are for knowledge. It also helps to define the ultimate purpose for it. Present Christian movement can be comprehended only as the part that is very significant in the total endeavor for Christian education. Full understanding for the movement needs a cross examination that is aimed at learning the basis of educational theory and the practices. Accordingly, there is a well laid down procedure namely; presentation for basic beliefs that are for Christian education and secondly, the application of the beliefs for specific mission of Christian school (Entwistle, 2015).
