• The main objective of this
project is to launch the Food Test
lab on 1 July 2019 to coincide
with the Asia Food Safety
Convention’s Opening day.
• Another objective of the project
is to incorporate Fipronil Testing
in the project. Both the
objectives of the project were
fulfilled.

• Fipronil Testing is one of the
major project priorities
• Apart from that, the launch of
the Food Test Lab on 1 July
2019 is another priority of the
project.
• Both the priorities of the

Contributing Event
• The Food Test Lab project has
seen certain changes in the
schedule of the project
• This is mainly because of the
change in duration of one
particular activity in the project.
• The contributing event for the
same is Fipronil Testing.

Cost Overrun and its
contributors
• The project has observed certain
cost overrun in the project.
• The variance in the cost is
enforced by the addition of
Fipronil Testing in the FTL
project.
• The major contributing event of
cost overrun is therefore the
Fipronil Testing.

The suggestions in this project

The Project Manager should
have considered the problem of
resource conflict.
The cost estimation of the
project should be more
accurate.
