INTRODUCTION
Every organisation is running with the helps of various functional areas as these are the
sub-divisions which is being performed with the specialised workforce with the aim of attaining
pre-defined goal of the company. A group of people working who are having similar skills and
abilities by which they can work with the help of specialised workforce(Edelman and Macé,
2021). There are various functional are that are working with the aim of generating higher
growth to the business which includes marketing, human resource, information technology and
production. To conduct this respective report, IMO electronics Ltd is the chosen organisation
and this report is based on the case study in which John is 21 year old ad having less experience
in working. He just won the £10 million in lottery and decided to buy the local company by his
own. It is the regional organisation with 200 employees which is based over tow sites in
Manchester and Liverpool. Thus, this respective report will analyse the different functional areas
and the type of skills required for the employees.

Every organisation is working with the aim of adopting advancement technology so that
they can have brand recognition in the market and leads to attains higher profits and sale. In
consideration of IMO Electronics Ltd., There are various departments which are working
together to achieve the desired goal of the company and they are given below:
Production: It is the unit which is engaged in converting the raw material into finished
goods for further sale in the market for attaining higher profits and revenue. It is the
action of manufacturing goods and services by which they can attract the large group of
customer who can be loyal to their brand. In context to IMO Electronics Ltd., the
manager ensures the sufficient availability of raw material by which they can full fill the
needs and wants of the target market and operate their business on larger scale.
Human resource: It is the functional unit that is related to higher of the potential
candidate who perform their job role in well-defined manner by using their skills and
abilities so that higher revenue and profitability can be generated in the organisation.
Human resource manager is also responsible for compensation, salary, leaves and training
of the employees so that they can expert in their given field. In context to IMO
