Individuals are held responsible for performing civic duties, and their acts must benefit society as a whole, according to the ethical idea of social
responsibility. If this balance is maintained, individual responsibility has been achieved. In this approach, a distinction must be drawn between
economic progress and societal and environmental well-being. If this balance is achieved, social responsibility has been achieved. The
philosophy of social responsibility is based on an ethical principle in which decisions and acts must first be ethically approved. If an activity or

choice has a negative impact on society or perhaps the world, it is deemed socially accountable. Inherent in society's moral standards, a division
between right and wrong is established. In this way, most people suggest that human equality is the “right” thing to do, but it isn't always the
case. Every individual has a responsibility to act in a way that benefits society as a whole, not just they.
The philosophy of social responsibility and ethics can be applied to individuals as well as groups. It should be infused into everyday
activities and decisions, especially those that affect other people and/or the environment. In a larger group setting, a code of social responsibility
and ethics is followed both within the group and while interacting with yet another group or person. Businesses have built a social responsibility
system that is specific to their industry. Workers as well as the environment are treated equally to the company's finances if human dignity is
maintained within the organization. Preserving firm social responsibilities for personal gain, the ethical consequences of a decision/action are
frequently neglected, and the benefits are typically material. This is typically seen in businesses that try to get around environmental rules. When
this occurs, government intervention is required. Unfortunately, Multinational corporations generally do not practice moral obligation or
morality outside of the Western Hemisphere, making supervision.
Social Responsibility and the Law
The social responsibilities of a company frequently conflict with its ethical responsibilities. Organizations are legally obligated to protect
shareholder earnings. At the same time, they have a social responsibility to limit socially harmful (but occasionally profitable) corporate
decisions. As a result, ethical business executives have the problem of producing a profit without putting society on the hook.
Externalities are things that happen outside of control
Externalities are costs incurred by businesses that are borne by society. When a company pollutes a river, for example, the local sanitation
agency is in charge of clearing up the pollution. Business executives who are ethical have a societal responsibility to prevent activity that
depletes society's resources.

3. In a paragraph or two explain the value or usefulness of the Appendices (12 Documents) that you have
compiled and provided as part of your portfolio.
Importance of Personal development plan
Self - development allows me to have a particular vision of the future, which allows me to see what or where I will be in the coming months or
years. Knowing my life's aim and destination makes it simple to devise a strategy for achieving it. As a result, human growth is a lifelong
process, because once one set of requirements is met, other ones emerge that need to be met as well. On a competitive level, this manifests as a
drive to advance through the ranks — to climb the career ladder – or, in a business setting, to keep moving our company forward. This could be
measured in terms of sales, profitability, geographic reach, or product offers. Personal development is a critical component of life that everybody
should strive for it as a force for advancement and growth.
Personal development allows us to create certain hidden abilities inside individual. A talent is something individual excel at, and I'll know what I
am good at it when:
It's relatively simple to do.
I should feel at ease doing it.
Without the need for supervision, do it.
When I write down significant events in my learning process, I will be able to reflect on my accomplishments subsequently and be
motivated to learn additional skills in the future.
Personal growth boosts productivity in the workplace. It equips employees with the tools they need to achieve better results and reach their
goals. An employer or business owner needs an energetic and productive staff to achieve exceptional outcomes. The people individual employ
generate income for individual company, and without them, little or no business would be possible. Human resource experts attribute poor
workplace performance to a lack of personal development programmes that are tailored to each individual. They conclude that providing each
