INTRODUCTION For every person it is essential to conduct self development activities in order to perform responsibility in effective manner. Self development is also consider as personal development which include achievement of heightened self awareness, striking on ideal work life balance, development of potential and improving marketable skills as well as knowledge. Through personal or self development a person able to perform each and every activities effectively by taking its responsibility (Anderson and Stillman, 2013). The respective report include reflection statement of a person performing in group presentation in order to indicate their learning and aspects need to improve. Along with this, it will also include areas need to develop further as well as it will include action plan in order to improve lacked skills. MAIN BODY Reflective Statement While I am conducting group presentation I go through several situation as well as I also experienced various aspects through that I get know more about me. During presentation I able to identify my skills which can be denotes as strengths as well as it also help in identifying my skills which are weak and I need to enhance those skills for future. There are numbers of skills that are required while delivering group presentations at school, college, workplace or any other place. Such as verbal communication skills, delivery skills, leadership skills, selling/ persuasion, humour, storytelling, written and visual communication, self awareness, emotional management, adaptability, facilitating, listening, interpersonal relationship, network skills, stress management skills and many more (Bowen, 2013). From all these skills, some are my strengths whereas few are my weak point which I need to enhance but I also want to polish my those skills which are my strength so that I can make effective as well as bright career or future.On the other hand there are some skills which shows my weakness such as Team Working Skill, Problem Solving Skill, Time Management Skill, Confident and Presentation Development Skill. Moreover, while I am conducting presentation I learn various things like in a group presentation I always need to conduct work in team and for that I have to effectively understand each and every person as well as I also need to conduct effective communication with them. This is so because through that me and my team members can deliver presentations in proper manner. Along with this, I also learn that for delivering best presentation a person required numbers of 1
skills and abilities. Furthermore, while conducting group presentation I go through several situation from which some went well and some are not such as. Things which went are we all communicate or interact with each other effectively as well as we also gather all the necessary informations in proper manner which help us in develop proper presentation outline. In addition to this, there are some situation which didn't went well like from group no have proper knowledge of develop attractive presentation so at the time of developing it we go through several issues. Moreover at the middle of developing presentation there is conflict arise because every members belongs to different culture and departments due to which working style get differ (Dembo, 2013). But while working in group we all share several good time as well as we also learn from each other that is interesting thing for me because I able to improve my skills and abilities as well as I also learn numbers of new culture, working style and so on. While I am developing and delivering presentation I identify skills which are my strengthssuchascommunication,understanding,leadership,humour,storytelling,self awareness, adaptability, listening, facilitating, interpersonal relationship, and many more. On the other hand skills which are my weakness are presentation development, networking, time management, confident, showmanship, gesture, problem solving and so on. Now I need to improve my skills in which I am lacking behind because through that I can conduct my work in effective as well as successful manner. By enhanced these skills I will able to increase all of my weak skill and it will also help me in polishing my skills that are strength for me through this procedure I can able to deliver group presentation in proper manner at school, college, workplace or any other place. By getting new skills, knowledge and informations I able to conduct numbers of things in effective manner such as I able to develop attractive as well as advance presentations by my self. I also able to deliver my presentation in proper manner along with appropriate gestures which attract as well as it will also help me in conducting my work in organized way so that presentation will get accomplished timely. Furthermore, through new knowledge and skills I able to understand my teammates according to which I can solve their problems in successful manner. While conducting all activities related to skills enhancement and learning new things, there are some factors which I not able to understand as well as it also make me confuse because I not able to understand how to reach or solve that issues. For example while conflict arise among the team members due to diverse working style I not able to understand how to resolve 2

I also need to improve my confident because if I have low confident level then I will not able to perform effectively in front of others as well as it also impact on my time management skill. This is so because due to lack of confident I am not able to conduct perform work in proper time which impact on time management skills of mine.Furthermore,Ialsoneedtodevelopmy gestures skills so that I can deliver proper presentation in front of others or senior as well as it will also help me in avoiding shameful situation due to wrong or improper gesture in front of others. I also need to enhance my problem solving skills because through it I able to understand issues or problems of others which help me in developing strategies by which issues canbe resolve effectively. In addition to this, I am also taking in team working so I need to improve this skill because through that I can perform effective in team or group at any place or for any project or situation. Through improving this skill I also understand how to deal with other without harming them or their emotions. Along with this, emotion management is another skill which I need to improve according to this skill I need to be prepare for rejection too because in many situation peoples learn numbers of things through rejections. Action Plan In this section of report I need to develop action plan which help me in my personality and professional development for future. For this I can develop PDP (Personal development plan), which is consider as a procedure through which an organisation or individual can attain their desire goal by improving skills, abilities and knowledgable(Dyllick, 2015). Through respective plan I able to analyse what I want to attain or where I want to go, in the long, medium or short term in my career.
