INTRODUCTION
Plagiarism is a act of representation of language, ideas, thoughts, expressions of other people as
their own. In context of education, plagiarism can be considered as violation in academic
integrity and as breach of journalistic ethics (Chen and Huang, 2017). It is a subject of penalties,
expulsion and suspension from work, schools. It creates problems in academic, personal,
professional and legal life of a person. Plagiarism can be categories as academic misconduct
which is unethical. In order to avoid this problem, teachers can use different games which protect
ethical behaviour in students and also aims to improve their knowledge. This project report
includes designing of a game for students which develop different strategies for avoiding
academic misconduct and plagiarism. s
TASK 1
Plagiarism refers to a act of presenting others work and ideas as our own without their consent
and incorporating their work without their acknowledgement. It is a major problem in academic
life of a students and create various barrier in process of learning (Greenhalgh, 2021). Plagiarism
allegation create various problems in life of a students as it can cause students to be expelled and
suspended. Academic misconduct is considered as cheating which take place in context to formal
academic exercise. It can be considered as action which are attempting to gain unfair academic
advantage. There are different types of academic misconduct which includes collusion, contract
cheating, plagiarism, possession of material which are unauthorised and fabrication of data at a
time of examination. Poor academic record of a students creates problems for them for entering
in another college or high school. It results in adjustment to integrity and working pattern for
student which can hinder learning and knowledge of a student. In order to avoid these problems,
there are quick game which improve academic integrity of a person. There are different
strategies to be adopted by universities for designing a game for students in order to improve
their academic integrity and also helps them to overcome of various problems faced by students
in their academic life.
Integrity card:
Integrity card is an offline game which is designed for improving academic integrity of a person
and also helps to avoid plagiarism and other academic misconduct. This game helps students for
improving their skills and also leads improve morale of students. It allows students to work with
