Equality in gender is concerned with treating both genders equally without arising any

administration and management of the survey. Present investigation seeks to enhance
investigation capacity to an investigator to conduct closely related research in the future

LITERATURE REVIEW
Gender equality in leadership and management
Olivia Kyriakidou (2020) stated that as women become more and more leaders, males
and females keep attracting attention in their dominant leadership styles. The historic belief was
that men are best suited than females to leadership, as existing models were mostly made to
handle males. Gender has kept women from becoming leading women. Women have few
opportunities for personal development because of their designated role. To carry out the
projects, company has always empowered people to take a leadership role. Managers believe it
will motivate them to take decisions that impact their lives to give them leadership positions.
Women's leadership and management positions are less emphasized by the organization. They
think women are smarter than men. Leadership and gender awareness are popular and prevalent.
To getover from issue, administrators need to develop a positive and versatile workplace culture
of jobs for both genders.
Influence of gender equality in leadership and management
Kathryn E. Eklund, Erin S. Barry and Neil E. Grunberg (2020) stated that Gender
equality is achieved in Hilton Hotel London with positive and negative influence on leadership
and management of Double Tree. The notion that female is increasingly taking on managerial
positions at hotel tends to encourage as well as offer these career opportunities. In the Double
Tree Hotel London, dominant form of leadership of males and females seeks to attract interest as
women. The names are predominantly women representatives and executives. The women get
involved in management and leadership is not transition problem. The emphasis on both males

and females is on developing relevant features to be seen in leadership positions for promotion.
Evidence has shown that gender equality and equitable leadership are all about decision-making,
maturity and honesty. Social contextual perspective indicates that implicit discrepancies in
conventional roles of women and men influence their leadership behavior. Gender is
necessary as more men's gender roles in line with leadership role than the women (Coe, Wiley
and Bekker, 2019).
Advantages of gender equality at workplace
Rossa Brown (2020) stated that Equality and diversity aims are sensible is to obtain
access to equal and fair treatment opportunities. If company actively promote equality and
diversity, business can survive and people from all backgrounds will be able to work together
accomplish things. Ensuring that women are equal throughout the workplace can produce
positive results throughout organization. For women in teams, work dynamics can be
strengthened and team cohesion encouraged. It was showed that female had greater capacity to
interpret nonverbal signs. Interaction with groups with even more women is more successful,
allowing them to optimize the collective knowledge and qualifications of groups. It would help
all parties if they participate in face-to - face activities. This helps when workers use modern
resources like working group contact and collaboration. (Egdell and et. al., 2020).
Ways to manage the gender equality in leadership and management
Arvind Rongala (2020) stated that, managing the gender equality is beneficial for
productivity of business. Ways for managing gender equality mention below:
Considering Men and Women for Leadership Roles - This is also the incorrect fact
that women can play supporting role, but men can effectively assume leadership roles. Basis for
gender discrimination at work are these stereotypes. Individuals with right characteristics deserve
a leadership position. The better manner to encourage gender equality is through giving
candidates leadership positions irrespective of gender (Flynn, Haynes and Kilgour, 2017).
Remove gender pay gap- If confidentiality culture in company is created, gender pay
disparities will continue. A new culture of transparency would appear to allow an organization to

discuss the wage disparity between men and women and to avoid asking candidates what their
most recent research was paid for (Jones, 2016).
P2
Research Philosophy- Positivism philosophy has been used to make the true and
applicable conclusion of an investigator. The philosophy of interpretivism cannot be examined in
the present report because it leads to an incorrect study
Research Approach- The Deductive research approach has been used because the
research report is completed with sufficient quality details (Kelan and Wratil, 2018).
Research choice- It enables researchers to use quantitative sample collection to provide
valuable details about a particular topic when choosing such a technique, so that researchers
receive accurate information and results so that they can finish it analysis correctly (King and
Bryant, 2017).
Research Strategy- Questionnaire is an improved method to obtain and gather accurate
sample size data or information relevant to the study subject.
Data collection- Each section of the study is separated into two effective data collection
methods, both secondary and primary. In primary method, questionnaire is the best tool for
gathering trustworthy data for this study. In addition to the secondary source, there are number of
useful sources, such as books, magazines, newspapers, publications etc. In addition, main or
secondary services are provided by researchers (Klein, 2016).
Sampling- Probabilistic samples are used as each individual is equally likely to be
selected as a sample to minimize the probability of bias. 40 respondents are randomly selected by
using probabilistic sampling (Kossek and Buzzanell, 2018).
Time horizon-

Cost- Essential considerations are made in conducting a research projects. Investigators
must monitor the appropriate funds in conjunction with the research work to prevent the
researcher from getting any issues mostly during research activities. This is required to assign
funding to the investigator for investigation tasks in order to obtain sufficient results (Ortenblad,
Marling and Vasiljevic, 2017).

Access- In order to acquire data and facts from different sources researchers must be
provided with proper access or permission. This is not permitted for examination. Access and
permission are useful in the collection of truthful information to carry out ethical investigations
(Williamson, Carson and Foley, 2019).
Ethical considerations- This area is essential for critical activities and processes in order
to gain the attention of required participants. Throughout this analysis, a researcher is faced with
different questions and issues. Time and cost, which investigators are mainly confronted with,
are the main challenges. This requires adequate monitoring and protection by a researcher of all
personal data related to respondents (Williamson, Colley and Foley, 2019).
P4
The thematic technique enables quantitative information to be analyzed using different
themes. Subjects develop, graphs are made via MS- Excel as well as the collected information
was interpreted by the primary data collection method from questionnaire.

TASK 4
P6
The existing research concentrates advantages of management and leadership in gender
equality to an organization. This impacts both company's productivity and the employee’s
effectiveness. In this study, I also used quantitative research method because the data collected
are thoroughly analyzed. Deductive research has been employed to analyze the views and views
of various authors in the particular field. To gather information, questionnaire used primary
method and established the multiple questions related to benefits related to Gender equality to an
organization. 40 participants have been selected by random sampling method.
Document Page
P7
A questionnaire method used in this analysis is to determine the views of various
respondents. It must be compared and interpreted using analytical methods, like graphs and
charts, as reason for selecting this method. The interview method can use as an alternative. The
rationale is that this makes it easier to give respondents with comprehensive opinions. Using this
technique, different participants can obtain accurate data and points of view on the subject of
research. It is the primary method of gathering data that few open or closed respondents are
answered by the selected respondents.
CONCLUSION
This is stated in the above study that equality between the genders in management and
leadership is required to retain employees. In order to function efficiently together and also to be
motivated and to achieve targets within a specific period of time, the company needs to provide
opportunity for all employees. Where there is any problem, the manager takes strict measures
against them. To tackle gender issues, various approaches can be used by the company, including
fair pay, to assist female workers in gaining control and to take into account both gender
leadership roles.
