LITERATURE REVIEW
Gender equality in leadership and management
Olivia Kyriakidou (2020) stated that as women become more and more leaders, males
and females keep attracting attention in their dominant leadership styles. The historic belief was
that men are best suited than females to leadership, as existing models were mostly made to
handle males. Gender has kept women from becoming leading women. Women have few
opportunities for personal development because of their designated role. To carry out the
projects, company has always empowered people to take a leadership role. Managers believe it
will motivate them to take decisions that impact their lives to give them leadership positions.
Women's leadership and management positions are less emphasized by the organization. They
think women are smarter than men. Leadership and gender awareness are popular and prevalent.
To getover from issue, administrators need to develop a positive and versatile workplace culture
of jobs for both genders.
Influence of gender equality in leadership and management
Kathryn E. Eklund, Erin S. Barry and Neil E. Grunberg (2020) stated that Gender
equality is achieved in Hilton Hotel London with positive and negative influence on leadership
and management of Double Tree. The notion that female is increasingly taking on managerial
positions at hotel tends to encourage as well as offer these career opportunities. In the Double
Tree Hotel London, dominant form of leadership of males and females seeks to attract interest as
women. The names are predominantly women representatives and executives. The women get

the present report because it leads to an incorrect study
Research Approach- The Deductive research approach has been used because the
research report is completed with sufficient quality details (Kelan and Wratil, 2018).
Research choice- It enables researchers to use quantitative sample collection to provide
valuable details about a particular topic when choosing such a technique, so that researchers
receive accurate information and results so that they can finish it analysis correctly (King and
Bryant, 2017).
Research Strategy- Questionnaire is an improved method to obtain and gather accurate
sample size data or information relevant to the study subject.
Data collection- Each section of the study is separated into two effective data collection
methods, both secondary and primary. In primary method, questionnaire is the best tool for
gathering trustworthy data for this study. In addition to the secondary source, there are number of
useful sources, such as books, magazines, newspapers, publications etc. In addition, main or
secondary services are provided by researchers (Klein, 2016).
Sampling- Probabilistic samples are used as each individual is equally likely to be
selected as a sample to minimize the probability of bias. 40 respondents are randomly selected by
using probabilistic sampling (Kossek and Buzzanell, 2018).
Time horizon-
most recent research was paid for (Jones, 2016).

A questionnaire method used in this analysis is to determine the views of various
respondents. It must be compared and interpreted using analytical methods, like graphs and
charts, as reason for selecting this method. The interview method can use as an alternative. The
rationale is that this makes it easier to give respondents with comprehensive opinions. Using this
technique, different participants can obtain accurate data and points of view on the subject of
research. It is the primary method of gathering data that few open or closed respondents are
answered by the selected respondents.
CONCLUSION
This is stated in the above study that equality between the genders in management and
leadership is required to retain employees. In order to function efficiently together and also to be
motivated and to achieve targets within a specific period of time, the company needs to provide
opportunity for all employees. Where there is any problem, the manager takes strict measures
against them. To tackle gender issues, various approaches can be used by the company, including
fair pay, to assist female workers in gaining control and to take into account both gender
leadership roles.
