Introduction The participation of women in sport has a long history that is marked by division and prejudice. Gender equality in sports has become a controversial topic. The interest of women towards sports has been increased day by day. The participation of women along with men has risen enormously in the Olympic Games but due to position of men and women on different profile generate lowest prestige. This assignment is divided into two parts in which one will elaborate the history of gender equality in sports and other part will highlight the developments and implementation of strategies for gender equality in sports. Both parts will cover three topics respectively in order to define the clear depiction of gender equality within the sports industry.
