Introduction-
Gender equality is not only a term but it is a human right that create peaceful and better
world. It is also known as gender egalitarianism or sexual equality. It is the state that defines
equal rights and opportunity for every individuals. Whether, it is male female or transgender. For
an economic growth and prosperity the mentioned term plays an vital role. In this given report
essay an overview of gender equality is being described and various pros and cons will also
taken into consideration (Agarwal, 2018).

Gender equality is an important segment that treat every gender as an important citizen
and offers equal opportunity to enhance their lives towards better environment. It prevents
violences and other non ethical activities towards women. It succours into developing economy
productivity, emphasis women empowerment and eliminate the social issues that being facing
due to gender inequality. Hence there are numbers of issues and cases of gender discrimination
that can be solved by implementation of above practice in economy. In instance, advance laws
and legislation need to procure that solely focuses to solve the arises issue faced by people due to
gender.
In many communities girls and women's are facing gender inequality. Many past data has
shown that women's and girls were not getting the same opportunity in compared to male. As per
unisef (2020) stats Worldwide every 1 in 5 girls facing the issue of child marriage that
addressing the serious issue. Females facing the discrimination and violences in many parts of
countries that shows some serious problems happening in the community. By the help of Gender
Equality these types of violences and discrimination can concur. In light to the fact it is seen that
countries with Gender Equality are more prosperous and developed in compare to inequality
economic countries. Therefore, it is clear that the mentioned term is essential in every aspect for
economy development (Bakker, and et. al., 2019).
Several countries are lacking with proper laws and regulations for women protection.
They have not such strong polices that can prevent women from domestic violence. Many cases
are reported against the physical violences that affecting women's life and eliminating their
human rights. They are not free to take their life decisions on their own and facing the genital
mutilations. All of the above incidents making female life dangerous and poisonous for them .
