Introduction
In every society have two distinct categories to identify persons either male or female.
This category of the identity of personality is named as “sex” (Appiah, 2016). Gender
identity is the behaviour of the individual's personality and the way they described their “He”
or “She”. Gender identity is basically the thoughtful, personal conscience of our self, such as
“male” and “female”. Man and women are identified by their physical appearance, choice,
along with the teaching and practise. Gender identity is an individual’s particular sense of
one's specific sex. Gender identity can associate with consigned sex at the time of birth or can
change after it (Apple, 2017). All societies have fixed sex categories that can help as the base
of the establishment of an individual's communal identity concerning with the other people of
the society. The main purpose of this essay is the functions of men and women concerning
with each other (Brookfield, 2015). This concern has established on the ethnic customs of
every society, which may lead to the formation of masculinity and femininity. In this essay, I
will be discussing a critical analysis of the Gender Identity, and how it affects every society. I
belong to a Punjabi family and now residing in Canada, have analysed that Canada is not the
single country to be more comprehensive in relations of government gratitude of no dualistic
Gender Identities. Countries like Nepal, Pakistan, and India altogether agree to defendants to
categorise a gender as well as male and female. Apart from this, we all have to issue
different types of documentation or ID cards and along with the passports to identify our
specific gender.
Personal Perspective
In common languages, "sex" denotes to the organic dissimilarities between males and
females, for example, the genitalia and chromosomal differences. "Gender" is more
challenging to describe (Castiglioni & Bennett, 2018). It can denote to the character of a

male or female in society. From my standpoint, I would say rather it is very important to
know about the role or functions of a gender or a character's conception or the identity of
gender.
Gender identity includes ethnic individuality. Females are skilled from the
perspective of their early period to have individualities of womanliness that comprise a
development yet assertive character (Dhamoon & Hankivsky, 2015). They should search for
higher education along with to build their profession. On the other hand, the Indian women
or the Afro-American women in compare to the White women, have a better likely covering
of affirming their individuality. This objective perhaps originates from the circumstance of
their mothers who are professionally positioned or carrier oriented women who conveyed
upon their children. Male are similarly exaggerated or crucially exaggerated by their ethnic
identity. Canadian men are virtually predictable to symbolize the masculinity over
exaggerated mannishness, which is connected with sexist activities along with the honour,
self-respect, and respect. Despite the realism of such types of activity, the affiliation between
